Unplugged it. After looking for a new tv online I decided to try getting it to work. So, plugged it back in and held down the power button, a red light came on, held down the power button again and an orange light came on, held down power button again and green light came on and tv powered on. This was simply a case of trial and success!

I Can not see the screen on my pitney bowes dm100i?

Screen contrast probably needs to be reset which can be done by:
1. Unplug the power cord
2. Press the #4 AND KEEP HOLDING IT DOWN UNTIL METER IS FULLY started aafternext step.
3. Keep the 4 button pressed & plug the power cord in, while keeping the 4 button held down.

After meter fully boots the screen will be restored to normal if contrast settings were the problem.

If this doesn't resolve the problem, the screen or control panel is bad & should be replaced. This should be covered under yourpPitney Bowes warranty while meter is onlease.

Mod.Hp980PT, red and top green light flash, no heat

This is a very common feature on these types of simple, high-volume, low-cost home appliances known as a safety fault. This fault will temporarily (or permanently) disable the appliance and happens for several reasons: (1) an over-temp (high heat) occurrence, (2) an over-power (power surge) occurrence, (3) an under-power (power outage or trickle power) occurrence, (4) an over-time occurrence (auto-off fails), (5) a short-circuit occurrence (exposed/crossed/frayed wires, etc.). Fortunately, it uses a digital "fuse" system and can be reset by the user. However, there is no universal reset process on SoftHeat products so you just have to play with it until you figure it out (customer service dept is no help). Mine is a Kaz SoftHeat HP980PT, with a red power indicator/power-off button and 4 green heat setting buttons. Mine faulted after a heavy storm caused multiple power outages and power surges in my neighborhood. The green light on the highest heat setting button was flashing on mine. Here's how I fixed it: (1) unplugged both ends of power cord and straightened out the cord, then plugged back in to the heating pad end. (2) While holding down the flashing light button, I plugged back in to the wall outlet. (3) While still holding down the flashing light button, pressed and held down the red power-off button, then while still holding down the red power button, I released the flashing light button, followed by releasing the power-off button. This stopped the flashing green light and caused the red power indicator light to stay on (steady-on). It works fine now. Note: Some models have an actual hard fuse in addition to the digital fault feature or possibly only a simple fuse (without the digital fault system). These fuses can the found at many retail stores and then very easily replaced. I hope this helps some of you!!!

DO YOU FIX PS3s... I have tryed everything i can think of incloding different cables HD & normal, different TVs HD & normal Also holding down the power button and waiting for the beeps. But nothing...

  1. Make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI OUT port on the back of the PLAYSTATION 3 system. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI Input port of the TV or display monitor.
  2. While the PLAYSTATION 3 system is in standby mode (red light on the front of the system), hold down the touch-sensitive power button on the front of the system until the system goes into standby mode again . (So the light cycle would go from: red light --> green light --> then back to red light). This will ensure that you have held down the power button long enough to reset the Video Output Settings.
  3. Turn on the PLAYSTATION 3 system and once the system finishes powering up, the Video Output Settings will automatically reset to the standard resolution (or detect the current display output settings of your TV/monitor).

SAFE MODE

Have a look at this, it may help.

I have conon mx 868 but i have got error message 6502 and 150 how can i solve the problem?

Here are instructions:

The MPTool is designed for service works with the printer Canon MP-Series

Currently supported for
MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450, MP460. MP150, MP160, MP170, MP180, MP450, MP460.

BEFORE activating MPTool...you need to

To activate LOW LEVEL mode:

1. Unplug the power cord to the printer for a moment.

2. Then, hold down the on/off button while plugging in the power cord. Keep holding the on/off button down.

3. Right away the green power light (in the button) will turn on solid. Keep holding the on/off button down.

4. Press and release the Stop/Reset button.

Sometimes the Canon printers which use PG-5BK/CL-8 colour cartridges with chips will give error mesaages like 6502 or other types of error meaasge to do with the cartridges, which has the orange light flashing and the printer will not work. Follow this procedure which quite often resets the printer and allows it to resume printing.

When error is indicated, turn power switch off so green light is extinguished.

First hold down resume button and then hold down power button so both are held down at same time

When green light comes on, continue holding down power button and let resume button go, then press resume button twice. Then let power button go.

Then press resume button four times, power button should be releasedbefore doing this.

Wait until printer settles down, if power is off, turn on. If power will not come on, remove power cord from back of printer, then wait 15 seconds before plugging back in again and turn power on. This normally solves the error problem - if not go through same procedure again.

Incidentally, you may find that if the chips had previously been disabled, the low ink warnings are showing againand they will have to be disabled once more. This would indicate that the above procedure clears the firmware memory of the disabling of the chips, this may be usefull if you need some warranty work done on you printer after the chips had been disabled. Canon does warn that disabling the chips may result in the printer's warranty being voided

Lights come on but no fans or powerup

Hello,

Please follow the steps below.

1. Please removed the battery and unplugged the power supply.
2. Held down the power button for 45 seconds.
3. After 45 seconds reinstalled the battery and the power supply and pushed the power button and if it works then you don't need to replace your motherboard.
4. Else try it couple of times or up to five times before it worked if worst comes to worst.

Thanks
