I bought the television a year ago with warranty, I purchased it on Black Friday so it cost me $800, which was a great deal, and the screen cracked 3 months later, so how can i get it fixed or fix it myself for less then it would take me to get a new tv?
Over here in southern California, Wii controller get thrown at the TV. Same kid problems.
Well, there is no way to fix the screen itself, only replacing the screen.
The part# for your lcd screen is 180205911.
I got that part# through Partstore.com. They had screens for that model KDL-40S2000, but the cheapest is $1,850. That doesn't make sense to me.
So, I googled the part# "180205911". Only one place has it is nexttronics.com
List price $1200, but the sale price is $650.
I googled the model# "KDL-40S200" and then clicked on "shopping". One place called SONY STYLE is selling the TV for $599.95
It maybe better and cheaper to get a new TV from them.

dsacco86- yeah it is under warranty, but they won't fix it. It cracked on the right side, i'll try to put a pic, and it's a long story, It was a remote control, these kids outside were having a fight, so the throw a remote control, my window was open, so it went through and it my tv. That's New York
