My daughter got this camera, which was purchsed by her Grandparents for X-mas 2008 from WalMart, she charged the battery and then snapped a few pictures. Days later at her sisters birthday party, she tried to turn her camera on and nothing happend. Apparently the box it came in was thrown out with the X-mas wrapping paper, and the grandparents cannot locate the receipt. WalMart won't return or exchange it without the original box, because they need the numbers from the box (which are also located on the bottom of the camera). So, I called Sanyo service and they will not honor any warranty without the box either, nor will they honor the 90 day repair time warranty....what should I do, my eleven year old daughter now has a inoperable camera that I cannot afford to repair as Sanyo said they will fix it for $120.00...thats the cost of a new camera.....HELP!!! anyone have any ideas?
Sanyo VPC-E1075 comes with 90 day warranty. Teenager at walmart told me 1 year also. That is why I bought it. 3 year extended warranty is $22-$24 (walmart.com website only. In store only 2 year available).
I wanna fix my Canon G12 camera.but i didn't buy it from Walmart.
Is it possible to help me send back to Canon company for repair???

I Have the same one..I also went to walmart and they told me it had a 1 year warranty. So I am now trying to get in touch with sanyo. This is depressing news. It belongs to my 11 year old as well
okay ive had mine for over a year and now it decides to not turn on all of a sudden. the battery is fully charged too.
battery is fully charged but wont stay on.

Mine will not come on but once and thenit goes off and when I try to turn it on again the light on top will just flash 3 times and will not come on.
