The first step of a dishwasher is a drain / rinse drain. I would turn the dishwasher off at the socket, turn the nob to the off position only turn this in a clock wise direction IE: the direction the nob would naturally move. Turn on back at the wall and start as you would normally. The dishwasher will empty the water out in its first step then should cycle through as normal.

I've tried that have left it a few hours, it doesn't want to do anything unfortunately. Used a cup to remove water! I also tried searching the error code which suggested a kink in the pipe, all pulled out and fine. Still not working :(

Since water doesn't drain out ,it could be a clogged in the drain line. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. You should remove this line and clear it form any debris in the hose or the hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Good luck!

Tarvi...I don't know what the problem is...hard to diagnose these things. If the unit is working correctly, I suggest that you simply cut the power for a few minutes and then restart it. That may clear our a trouble code.

Hi. The above machine stops mid cycle and drain/fill light is on, also error code F3E, have cleaned both hot and cold water inlet filters, also checked drain pump and drain line, all ok. Machine drains with no issues and fills with hot water, runs for a while then shuts down.
Any ideas?

Why did my washer stop mid cycle and now won't work at all?

Hope your warranty is still in effect. It sounds like your control board has an electronic problem that will require replacement; typically around $135 for the part and $110 for the service visit.

Stops mid cycle and clears

It could be the heating element is at fault not heating to the selected temperature 95 degrees 40, 30,and so on, if one of these fail to work then the washer will not continue
also maybe the thermostat may be at fault, causing the same error

Machine stops half way through program

One looses touch with all the codes available, but normally if washer stops mid cycle its due to a blocked or faulty drain pump. OR incomming water is to slow or defective inlet sensor. Switch off and start from the beginning. See if you can get machine to drain by moving the timer etc. If not, rectify pump problem. Take note where in the cycle the problem arises.

Drain pump removal on Zanussi FJR1254 Washing Machine

not easy.suggest you disconnect pump and power up independently as an easy way to check if it runs
easiest way to remove pump - and its awkward - is to undo the 3 screws holding the pump to its housing
