HP C6180 won't print borderless photos

My HP C6180 AIO no longer prints borderless photos from the photo tray using my computer running Windows XP. Borderless prints are fine from a memory stick. Bordered prints and all letter-size printing is fine. Borderless photo printing does not work with any of the 4 applications I have tried. Thank you for your help.

Also had ongoing problem of paper jams printing PDF files, but not when printing any other files. Solved both problems by uninstalling and reinstalling printer driver.

Hp c6180 won't print from 4x6 photo paper tray

If you put regular paper in the tray as it is asking does the printer use the regular paper to print the picture? If so, be sure the 4x6 photo paper tray (with photo paper) is pushed all the way in, and when you select print there should be an option (probably hidden in a submenu) to select the photo tray as the paper source. If you are printing from Adobe Acrobat, I have not found a reliable way to get the c6180 to use the photo paper tray. I hope this helps.

I can't get my hp photosmart printer to print photos from my hard drive onto the photo paper. It will print the photos from the paper tray.

You have to shift the paper tray. Click on start, click on printer/faxes right click click on your printer, click on printer preferences, select photo printing borderless. This shifts your paper tray to photo paper.

When using canon pro 9000 with photoshop on a MAC Snow Leopard computer, I cannot print borderless pictures. How can I fix this problem

Preserve your memories forever with borderless printed photographs--while saving money and time by printing from the comfort of your own home. Some printers do not have the option of printing borderless prints, so make sure your printer supports borderless printing before beginning this project.

  • Download your digital photo to your computer from a digital cameramag-glass_10x10.gif, email or the Internet. Save the photo to your hard drive to a folder that you can find later such as "Pictures."
  • Step 2Open your digital photo in a photo-viewing software. Click "Print" from your menu. Go to your printer properties to change your printer's "Page Setup." Access "Properties" through the "Preferences" or "Options" link in your "Print" dialog box. Many software programs have a default margin or border for photos; to print borderless photos, you'll have to remove the default margin.
