This dishwasher has a thermal fuse that attaches to the main control board that may have failed, it can be tested with a meter for continuity if it does not have continuity then it is your problem.
The main board sends power to the display lights. Check with a multimeter for voltage coming out of the main board to the display board. If no voltage the main board is bad or the fuse is bad.
press normal heated dryer normal heated dry normal the dishwasher should reset and start. You will need to check the heater this happens because the heater normally fails. Let me know,
it could be bad thermal fuse or loose wires in jbox at bottom .to chkd therm fuse remove the screws the on top of the door holding the control panel.then pull out the panel and u should see cntrol board on the rhs of the panel.the thermal fuse is mounted on rhs corner of the control board.remove wires from fuse and chk for continuity.if open replace.if ok remove toe panel at the bottom and remove the screw of j box at rhs bottom corner.chk for loose or burnt wires.do not forgot to unplug the unit from power before doing all this.good luck
have you tryed leaving the power cord out of the socket for an hour or so sometimes they don't lose the memory until they have been left disconnected for a while
Have this same problem with my Whirlpool DU1145XTBA. Found out that when you start the unit, it fills with water. If the water does not rise above the filter mesh in the bottom center of the unit then the pump doesn't have enough water to supply pressure to the upper sprayer. Had to replace the Flow Meter. It tells the unit how much water to supply to the unit.
