Enable UPnP.....UPnP can help make sure NAT works correctly for Xbox LIVE. Usually, this can be set on your router configuration web page, which is supplied by your router manufacturer.

How to unmute yourself on xbox 360

Hi there I can sort understand what you mean and I think this is the answer. If you cannot be heard normally in chat when online even though your mic is turned on or you have made sure that in preferences, you went in to audio settings and made sure you were not on mute? My guess is your having issues with your NAT settings as this can affect you chat settings when online. For example, xheck your NAT status and if it is MODERATE or STRICT then this is why. If you NAT is OPEN then it is because the players you are playing with have a NAT issue. MODERATE and STRICT NAT's will limit what you can do online, including chatting.
Hope this answers your question :)

Me and my gf are trying to use quickplay matchmaking but every time we look for other friends online she always get booted i have put her in the same party and tried in viting but it still boots here

This is because her NAT settings are strict, or moderate and not accepting information from other networks. Look into finding out how to open the NAT settings on your router/modem on Google. You must first find what type of router you have, and find out from there.

I went on a trip and brought my console and connecetd to a network with a moderate NAT type. When I tried to connect to my original network which usually has an open NAT type it would not switch to open...

Thats odd I know I have a moderate because I'm using a wireless 360 network adapter and my brother has open as he uses a ethernet cable. Also maybe if your bro unhooks his maybe yours will be open and his will go to moderate.

And this site helped me alot:

With these guides, and bit of web reading from other peoples FAQ's.. I did it.

The guide you need will depend on what modem/router you have.

My nat settings for my xbox 360 is set to strict, I am connected to xbox live from my laptop, my laptop is connected to my linksys router, how do i change my nat settings to open if my connection is set up...

You'll need to log into the linksys router and find the setting for UPNP. Please make sure this is enabled. That should allow your NAT setting to at least Moderate, if not Open.

I cant hear people talking on my ax 180s but my mic doesnt work i have 360 help

ou should check your NAT type [the think that lets you connect, talk, hear, and play with people on Xbox Live]

Go to the Xbox Dashboard, Network Settings and Test Xbox Live Connection.

In the bottom of the tests, it will say your NAT Type

Strict= Bad
Moderate= Sucky
Open= Works Fine

If its Open, then you know thats not the problem.

If its Strict/Moderate, go to More Info and they will tell you more about it and give you a website that will help you out. Source(s): Experience

P.S. [That website that will help you out]

www.xbox.com/setup

P.S.S. Have you checked the batteries? Sometimes when the battery of a wireless is low, it won't allow you to speak

How do i change my NAT connection from moderate to open

This one is simple. Find the IP address that your Xbox is assigned by your router, then put it into the DMZ. This also goes for PS3 users who are having trouble with internet access.
