Hi,

this could be awkward for you.
Because e-machines, is just the computers outer casing.
You need your motherboards Manufacturer Make and Model Number. You then go to thier site. i.e Gigabyte/Asus/Intel Or other Make/model.
You can download the correct device drivers. as it,s the motherboard-drivers you need. Not E-Machines.

Go to a coputer store and tell them what you need then it goes right in to the back it sould come with drictions

Go to www.emachines.com, go to their support section, their driver downloads section. Answer the questions about your computer and download your drivers. If you don't have the drivers for this computers lancard or modem, go to your local library and download your drivers on to a flashdisk and install them on your computer. Have fun!

Needed driver for Network : 10/100Mbps integrated Ethernet driver
Gateway (eMachines manufacturer) has a driver database for your model of computer. I myself have several eMachines of my own and am pretty sure they all have the same 10/100 Ethernet board. If you are unsuccessful with Gateway, write back and I will send you what I have.

Hi,
The motherboard in the machine is an MS-7207
The chipset drivers are nForce 430/410

You can download the chipset drivers from nVidia here >>>>>>>>>

EMachines T6420 - powers up in safe mode only
Change the order so that the CD boots first. Try to run Repair from the Windows CD. If unsuccessful, you'll need to reinstall Windows.

Problem with my emachine T6420
This problem comes due to problem with RAM and CMOS.

first you get RAM outside the CPU and clean properly by brush,and put into the RAM SLOT.

it work.
otherwise ,you have to change RAM.

Gateway GX7018E / T6420 = swap video cards for a test?????
No you cant, the gateway GX7018E uses integrated graphics like the T6420. You will have to buy a cheap PCI or PCI-E graphics card to test it out.
