We'd need to know what computer you're using to be able to help here, Linux sometimes needs specific drivers (and sometimes has no available driver at all) for devices to function.

The best bet is to look up what sound device your using, like a sound card, or what motherboard your computer has, and do a google search for that device and "linux driver".

You should find what you're looking for, if it exists, when you do that.

Sound not coming in win xp sp3 even after updating correct sound driver?

Do you still have the unknown device in device manager? If so, you need to install a different driver. If not, go into device manager, expand Sound, Video, and Game Controllers. For each device under that heading, right-click the device, then click update driver software, choose "Search Automatically..." It will then go to the windows update site and see if there is a driver there that is listed as more recent, and it will install that driver, if such a driver is found. If that doesn't work, make sur ethat y ou manually find the correct sound driver installer, and then right-click whichever device obviously represents the sound hardware driver, and click Uninstall. Reboot afterward. Then reinstall the audio driver. If that doesn't work, you may have to reinstall windows.

SCX4824FN driver

Fixya doesn't have any drivers for any device, the only place to get the software is at the manufacturers support site, if they don't have the needed drivers to use Linux then it likely doesn't exist.

We have a Digital Photo Frame, model 13690/13597. I have the owner's manual and it says the software will autorun, but it does not. I tried clicking on it from my desktop and it still doesn't...

The software is designed to run automatically in Windows systems. It might not work in Mac or Linux systems. It might not work in Windows 7 also.
It will not work even if you click it on Mac or Linux systems.
