IN Red hat Linux OS ERROR E1810 HARD DRIVE 0 FAULT

There's a couple of reasons that could give this message. The primary is simply hard drive failure and it need replacement. If it's an ssd you can still get the message even if it's read by the bios and OS, but the ssd is no longer reliable (happened to myself). Check your wire connections and if the problem persists pull the drive out and scan it in a cradle with a different PC if your machine won't boot and you're unable to install a HDD health scan program. Any external HDD casing will do, just take it apart and remove the OEM drive and put the drive you wan't to look at in the cradle and connect it with the USB and run a HDD health scanning program to be certain. (I use HD Sentinel but there are many others) Good luck!

You might plug in a USB wireless adapter or NIC. That might get you to the internet where you can download the needed drivers for the internal NIC. Or you can look in Device Manager, see what NIC is listed that needs drivers, download that driver set to another computer, then transfer the drivers to the Compaq. In Device Manager, add the drivers for the NIC, directing the search to the USB device where the drivers are located.

I want install tata photon+

hi...

many mobile phone companies don't provide drivers for linux.

But there is a software i would personally recommend to you. Actually its not a software, its a shell script.

Name of the software is "Sakis3g". It can connect to mobile phones and other mobile devices which can be detected by linux kernel. You can use IR, Bluetooth, even USB cable to connect to your device.

You can use this software for the following

  • connect to mobile devices by IR, bluetooth, USB Cable

  • Send and receive files between computer and device

  • Access Internet from Device by Dial Up Networking

  • Browse files on Mobile device

  • Mount the mobile device on a user specified mount point or communication port.

  • usually it mounts connected mobile device to /dev/rfcomm0. Through this port, you can communicate with the device .

  • Connect to USB Modem (Like Reliance DataConnect, TATA Photon, IDEA Netsetter etc.)

  • ability to connect to any locked/unlocked USB Internet Modems (Zero Devices)

fully automated connection setup. No manual input is needed except to specify connection name.

You can find more details and download Sakis3g from this address

hope this will help you to solve your issue.

If so, try 'ping 8.8.8.8' 2) Is the gateway IP address similar to 192.168.x.x? If so, you have a local router. Verify that you can 'ping 8.8.8.8'. Your support stops, the software is always free. It's just the update and support that cost. If you can't afford the support, use Fedora, same thing essentially. Or Oracle Linux, they provide public repo's. Similar to Fedora, but not separated.

What are the issues about Linux Operating System

There are MANY Linux operating systems. The main ones known are Ubuntu, Fedora, PC Linux OS, OpenSUSE, Cent OS, Linux Mint and Debian. Debian is the mother or what Ubuntu and Linux Mint is built from. Debian is considered to be stable. Ubuntu is also supposed to be stable as is Linux Mint. The advantage of these two are ease of use. Debian, Linux Mint and Ubuntu are using .deb packages for applications to be installed. OpenSUSE uses .rpm packages. It is also considered as stable, but not as widely used as Debian (and the other two) CentOS and Fedora. CentOS is mainly used for Server purposes. However, in the installation, there are many types of installation options, including Desktop. CentOS is based on the Enterprise version of Red Hat. This is what mainly more and more websites are running off of as it is extremely STABLE and FAST!! So Cent OS is the free EXACT version of Red Hat. Fedora, is the test bed for Red Hat , carrying the LATEST technology being made available to anyone for free. ALL of these operating systems, except Red Hat, are for FREE. All applications are for FREE. Just to let you know, Google also is using a Linux version for their phones now as well called Android, which you can also acquire for FREE. The only disadvantage that used to exists until recent is that you could not play all the latest and greatest games on Linux. Now with Steam, you can play anything. There is a myth that you could not install Windows applications on Linux. You can use Wine on Linux to install Microsoft Windows Applications. If you are having a problem, you are probably missing some files for wine to make it work properly. Linux is also being used in cars. Check out Toyota and Mercedes Benz that is using Ubuntu. Linux is big and amazing. Hope that answers your questions.

Sound doesn't work under linux

We'd need to know what computer you're using to be able to help here, Linux sometimes needs specific drivers (and sometimes has no available driver at all) for devices to function. The best bet is to look up what sound device your using, like a sound card, or what motherboard your computer has, and do a google search for that device and "linux driver".You should find what you're looking for, if it exists, when you do that.
