Compact 30 Frigidaire Model rbe539n range/oven. I am looking for the switch to turn on oven light.

I see your oven lock light is flashing and the oven is not working on your Frigidaire range. Are you able to provide model number, with that information I can research any additional information for your range. Hi michell51238 - From what you are describing it sounds like the range may possibly have a faulty light switch or wiring failure that only a professional can repair. I personally recommend consulting a certified technician for a proper diagnosis and to move forward accurately.

turn light switch off !! then take bulb out, then look inside socket u will see center little pin, with small flat head screwdriver gently pries out so that when new bulb goes in u r sure to make connection.

Does it not heat or turn on at all? What is the model number?

The stove has 4 burner switches with a # 2 terminal on each switch. This contact is similiar on all four switches. One of the switches # 2 contact is stuck. The burner switch should disconnect both legs of the 240 volt circuit, one leg through the # 2 terminal and one leg through the thermostat built into the burner switch. Disconnect the pilot lamp wire on each switch unti the light goes off and then replace that burner switch. This should correct the problem

make sure the light goes back to p1 or p depending on your switch

Does yours have the timer/clock thing that stands at the rear left of the stove? If so, make sure the far right dial is set at Manual. I had a repair person come out once (luckily it was someone I knew who didn't charge me) because my oven quit working. He turned the dial to manual and presto! :)

On my Frigidaire electric range with flat screen front controls, when the "Clean" control was accidentally pushed and the door locked, I could not unlock the door by cutting power, by running the clean mode for 30 seconds then pushing "Clear", or by hitting any button. What opened the door was holding down the "Clear" button for 30 seconds until the range started beeping and code "F11" read on the led. This worked. Good luck with yours.
