The most accurate answer its minimum 12 volt 1.5 amps power adapter at any radio shack. take the speakers with you to find the right tip and polarity, if not try ebay by your model no.

Check the power-connector on the speaker for the rating:
* AC versus DC
* 4.5 versus 5 versus 9 versus 12 versus 18 volts
* 0.5 versus 1.0 versus 1.5 amps
* pole-negative-ring-positive versus pole-positive-ring-negative
Try the local "Thrift Stores", once you have the specifications. You may get the correct suppy for less than $5.
Surge has possibly fried the PSU. Depending on the severity, you may find other components are damaged on the motherboard. Best way is to test with a known good PSU
Not much you can do with the old power brick to check it. They are all usually sealed in there boxes. Yousure the supply is bad? How did you get to that conclusion. The audio is just usually just an external set of speakers inside the monitor. However if they are boosted then an amp may be inside the monitor. taking power from the supply brick. Is that what your conclusion of a bad supply is from?
Q1: Do you have the original power supply and it is broken? Or did it disappear somehow?
If it disappeared, then you are not in luck. Even the parts web page of HarmanAudio.com doesn't have it in stock. http://www.harmanaudio.com/search_browse/partlist.asp?Parts=SOUNDSTICKSII
You can contact the company: Harman Multimedia 8500 Balboa Boulevard, Northridge, CA 91329 USA 1.516.255.4545
If it is broken, it is possibly under warranty. Contact them at the same phone/address.
Audio in is an auxillary imput. Your speakers should be plugged into audio out. Check the power supply to your speakers. Enter Control Panel > System> and Device manager and make sure your audio drivers are working. Also enter Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices and check the box that says "Place volume icon in the taskbar then open the volume control and make sure none of them are muted and that your volume levels are high. You can then click on the sounds tab and choose one of the sounds and hit the test button to check your speakers. Hope this helps. If all else fails check your speakers on someone else's computer.
try this site very hepfull if you can find all the speakers spec's.http://www.ajdesigner.com/speaker/ajvented.php . if you have the latest pioneer speakers they were designed for small enclosures if you imput speaker code in to google search you should find all the details you need .
Having some trouble finding any info online about them. Did they have a large power pack that plugged into the wall? If so, there might be some information either right around where they plugged in (im assuming on the sub) or possibly on the product info sticker on the speaker. Make sure if its a round plug in that you look for the tip information (whether if is a positive tip or negative). You might be better off buying a new set, depending on the price of a new adapter, compared to the price of a new set. Let me know if this helps.
