Lexmark 463de maintenance reset

To reset the maintenance count 1. Turn off the printer 2. Press and hold the 2 and 6 buttons simultaneously. 3. Turn on the printer. 4. Release the buttons after 10 seconds. The Configuration Menu appears on the LCD. 5. Touch Reset Maintenance Counter from the Configuration Menu. 6. Reset Maintenance Counter appears in the header and Yes and No appears below the header. 7. To cancel the reset operation, press Back or No. All other button presses are ignored. 8. To initiate the reset operation, select Yes. The maintenance count resets to zero and the LCD returns to the Configuration Menu

Hi,

I jsut followed the instruccion with a Lexmark X544 but i cant see the "Reset Maintenance Count". I could get de CONFIG MENU by holding the /check) and (right arrow). I move in the menu but none of the lines is anything related to "Reset Maintenance Count"

To reset the maintenance page count to zero:

1. Touch "Right Arrow" to select Reset Maintenance Counter from the Configuration Menu.
2. Touch Yes to reset the counter, or touch No to exit without resetting the counter.

To reset the maintenance page count to zero:

1. Touch "Right Arrow" to select Reset Maintenance Counter from the Configuration Menu.
2. Touch Yes to reset the counter, or touch No to exit without resetting the counter.

This is a lexmark based machine with IBM logo's

Maintenance" message displays (300K copies) and a maintenance
kit is installed.

2. Press Return to go to the previous menu.
To reset the Maintenance Page Count to zero:
1. Select Reset Maintenance Count. Pressing Select causes the
maintenance page counter to reset to zero.
- Reset Maintenance Count Saved displays momentarily.
When the reset operation is complete, the menu returns to
the Printer Setup Reset Maintenance Count screen.

Hit the menu button or the Key Button
Go into the configuration menu
Touch the arrow that says "Reset Maintenance Counter"
Select the Yes button. as you can not manually change the page count number.
It will reset the counter for you.

Maintenence counter is in Configuration Mode.
Power on the printer while holding down the 2 & 6 buttons. Continue holding buttons for 20 seconds. You will find the counter in Maintenence counter and can reset it there.

You can reset the maintenance count by going to the Configuration Menu.

Step 1: Turn off your X64x printer
Step 2: Hold the 2 and 6 buttons while the printer is off
Step 3: Turn on the printer but don't release the buttons yet. Keep holding those buttons for about 10 secs
Step 4: On your Operator Panel, you should see "Configuration Menu"
Step 5: Scroll down and look for "Reset Maint Count" and select it.
Step 6: Exit Config Menu and powercycle your printer (turn it off then back on)
