My ATF6000ES Front Loading washer runs on any cycle for about 5 minutes then stops, and the display resets to the start and nothing more happens. Got an E48 code and ran "test 7" and the tub did not

Hello Nick Jensen, thanks for your post!
From what you have described your Frigidaire washer is displaying an error code of "E48" and you have changed the control board with the problem continuing to be present. An "E48" error code could be a possible problem with your door lock assembly, motor control board, or control panel. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Code E48 what part do I need

Good Morning Gerald, thank you for your question!

If you are getting an error code E48, it usually means that the board thinks the door PTC (positive temperature coefficient) circuit is closed. This particular part is the wax motor on the door lock. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about ten minutes. If the error code persists, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Best regards!

What does an e48 code mean on 1990 cadillac

Below os a description of what code e48 is and basically has to do with the EGR system and your computer doing tests and the tests failing. As far as the other codes I'm not certain to be honest with you. I do know by holding the "OFF" & "LOW" buttons at the same time clears the codes in the BCM and a 7.0 should appear at the end. The .0.7 and the .8.8.8 I am sorry but didn't have any luck with that and really haven't heard of. Wish I could be more help but here is the description on the e48 for you. Hope this helps.
