The settings locked password is 0530. Now this will only allow you to get pass the settings locked screen.

Activate the external screen connector on your computer. If you are in windows, go to Start - Control Panel - Display and you should see two displays connected to the computer. Set the computer to CLONE the internal display and you should now see the second display on your screen. If this does not work, please tell me you Computer make and model as well as you operating system and I will walk you through the setup for the hot-key that activates your display.

Call the Activation Center.

The customer service representative asks you for your installation ID (displayed on your screen) and other relevant information. After your installation ID is verified, you receive a confirmation ID.

In the Activation Wizard,type the confirmation ID in the spaces provided at the bottom of the screen, and then press ENTER.

Telephone activation is not available for Trial and Subscription versions.

Screen savers can help protect your monitor from wear by showing a constantly changing display when your computer is not being used. Screen savers can be simple, like the Blank screen saver that turns off your monitor to save energy. To change your screen saver 1. Right-click your desktop, and then click Properties.
2. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Screen Saver tab.
3. Click the Screen saver drop-down box, and then click a screen saver.
4. Click the Preview button to see how the screen saver will appear on your monitor.
5. Move your mouse or press a key to return to the Display Properties dialog box. To try a different screen saver, return to step 3. 6. Click the Settings button to change the standard behavior of the screen saver you selected. (Each screen saver has its own settings dialog box.) Then, click OK.
7. In the Wait box, type the number of minutes the computer should wait to start the screen saver after you last touched the keyboard or mouse.
8. If you are the only person who uses your computer and you are not concerned about security, clear the On resume, display Welcome screen check box. Otherwise, leave this check box selected. Change the settings from the display settings panel. (Right click on the desktop and go to display settings)
You should see 2 monitors graphically represented there. 
You can make the monitor that is greyed out active by right clicking on the monitor, and selecting active.

You have to activate the video out of the laptop.
Two ways to do this depending on how you want to use the monitor.
To use the monitor by itself laptops have shortcut keys.
Usually they involve using the Fn key and one of the F keys (Usually F3-F4-F5) KEy will either show two screens or say CRT-LCD
Pushing both keys at once will switch you to both screens, pushed again will just run the monito, Pushed again will return you to the laptop screen.

If you want to use the monitor as an extension of the monitor to be able to drag windos over to it then go to your display properties from the control panel and activate the monitor in the settings box. You'll have to click the monitor first then activate it as a extension and adjust the resolution here.

Fax display screen always reads, "Auto receive". When attempting to fax, the busy light flashes. Busy light stops flashing for 30 seconds, then starts flashing again.
Above is the default settings for the fax.

NGB0 indicates signal error or line condition error.
U need to check the phone line. U can hook any single line phone to the phone line, check for tones without background noise.

Hi it sounds like your problem is that the call diverts are set to divert all calls what you need to do is goto settings then goto call settings then look for call divert settings what you need to do is cancel all diverts and then go through them one by one and just
activate divert if off (activating this one goes to ans phn if phn off
activate divert if busy ( goes to ans phn if your on phone call)
activate divert if out of reach (goes to ans phn if no signal)
After doing these settings then your phone should ring when someone calls you.
Before you activate any divert setting select cancel all diverts then get someone to ring you and make sure phone rings the screen will now display whos callind and the phone should also ring.
