What is the Model number that is listed on back of TV??
SOURCE: Powers off by itself.
Has anyone gotten a resolution for this the only answer I saw was the SSB Board. Is there a cheap place to get parts. Philips model 50P8341 goes off by itself also wont come back on if you unplug it for a while it will come back on.

Could be the power supply. You can check the power from supply with multi-tester or voltmeter. If have a service manual, then I suggest testing the ballast as well

IF its the lamp for Lcd. For starters..you have two bad electrolytic capacitors. If you change them now you may be able to save this TV from a bigger problem. Like a new flyback and a retrace cap. If you can..look inside the back cover and look for two bulging caps. I'm telling you what I've heard other TV techs discuss.
