iodine, open the upper oven, look thru the grill below the control panel on the right side and there is your model number. The issue here is that when the power came back on the oven run thru a test and your lower lock motor has failed. It will need to be replaced. Yes the only way to stop this is to shut off the breaker.

usually this is because you have the connecter on the touch pad off by a pin or not seated well. sometimes all it takes is taking the front touch panel off, re seating the connectors, and putting it back together. these thermadores are very sensitive to it for some reason. if all else fails, take all of the small multi pin wire connectors off one by one and re seat them. it should take care of the problem if it wasnt there before you started. good luck!

Try turning off your circuit breaker for a few minutes. Then, after you reset it, push clear, then set your clock.

Hello, the F1 error code means internal logic failure (monitoring function) it sounds alarm and inhibit cook mode You can fix it by replacing the electronic range control (ERC)

F7 error code means the function key shorted for over 16 seconds, check for something pressing a key or preventing normal release of the key. You can fix it by replacing the electronic range control (ERC) if other component check normal.

Hi alatfios,

This error F24 and the beeping sound is unfortunately because of a bad touchpad. The error code F24 means that the key has been stuck for longer than 120 seconds. The beeping sound that you are getting means hte button is opening and closing. Heat will cause buttons to stick sometimes. When you warm your oven up it expands the buttons and makes it so a button is being held down so you can't push any more to turn it back on. The touchpad is the glass assembly on the front. You can purchase it online and that is the only part you need. Kindly click here to purchase.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using Fixya.

I have a Thermador CM302BS oven and it will beep just once about every 30 minutes. No lights are on or anything?

If your Thermador CM302BS oven is beeping once every 30 minutes without any visible indication on the control panel, it's possible that the oven is experiencing an error or malfunction that is not being properly displayed. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Check the owner's manual: Consult the oven's owner's manual to see if there are any troubleshooting tips related to the beeping issue. Look for any error codes or messages that may be related to the beeping.
  2. Reset the oven: Try resetting the oven by turning off the circuit breaker that powers it, waiting a few minutes, and then turning the circuit breaker back on. This can sometimes clear up temporary issues with the oven's electronics.
  3. Check the oven's self-diagnostic system: The Thermador CM302BS oven has a self-diagnostic system that can be accessed by pressing a series of buttons on the control panel. Consult the owner's manual to see how to access the self-diagnostic system and check for any error codes or messages.
  4. Contact a repair technician: If you are unable to resolve the issue using the above steps, it's possible that there is a more serious issue with the oven's electronics that requires the attention of a qualified repair technician. Contact Thermador customer support or a local appliance repair service to schedule a service call.
It's important to address any issues with your oven promptly to ensure that it is operating safely and efficiently.

What causes the beeping sound coming from my Hearthstone propane stove? I bought my Hearthstone propane stove secondhand.

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.
If its an F2 ERROR CODE, The F2 error indicates an open circuit in the oven temperature probe.

Your range has a resettable thermostat in series with the oven temperature probe. If this thermostat opens the clock will display F2 and the oven won't heat.
You can reset the thermostat by pushing in the reset button on top of the thermostat.
Some ovens have an alarm that will beep continuously every six seconds to alert you that the oven is still on. Usually, a kitchen timer that you have set will cause the beeping, but occasionally it can be an error with the oven's settings. If it is the kitchen timer, you can simply push the "Kitchen Timer On/Off" button to end the continuous beeping. If that does not stop the beeping, it is probably beeping due to an error. You can turn the continuous beeping off but you may still need to troubleshoot the issue that is causing the beeping noise.

Thermador Oven E10 error message--due to power outage?

HI. During the power outage, there may have been a power surge. This has shorted your main control board. This E-10 is indicating that this is the issue. This code represents a failed control board. It must be replaced, in this case. Once replaced, the unit will return to its normal operating status.

Probe light stays on so I can't cook

After calling an authorized technician and the thermador support line, neither of which solved my problem, i was told a HARD RESET of the PROBE is all that is required. This problem originally occurred on my Thermador double oven after a power outage and rendered my oven unusable b/c the probe light would not go off -- even though i had never used the probe!

To hard reset the PROBE, turn off the oven at the breaker box, plug in the probe for 1 minute and remove it, then turn the power back on at breaker box, and probe light goes off!! Also, since i didn't have the original probe and to buy a new one would be $80, I borrowed a friend's Thermador probe (different model but it still worked). It cost me $85 for the service visit, 2 weeks of nonoperational oven, and about 5 hours time -- hence the reason i am making this post. It is a golden trick!!

What did NOT work -- turning off power to house again for 15 minutes to reset the OVEN, and disconnecting the probe wires from control panel so probe isn't recognized.

Thermador sm272zs microwave/oven combo

Woke up this morning and heard my smw272 built-in oven beeping. Oh no! First the display (but at least the oven worked) now the oven is beeping (fault signal according to manual) and the thing is dead except for the microwave and warming bin. The only way to turn off the incessant beeping--which was driving me crazy--was to go outside to the fuse box and turn off the circuit to the oven. Yeah, I stopped the beeping but now I'm at the mercy of the unscrupulous service repairman--was quoted a flat fee to drive out and a hefty hourly rate (i.e., "value added" service charge). OUCH! Hey folks, please follow my simple advice if you want to avoid making a big mistake: NO MORE THERMADORS. RUN--DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS BRAND!!!
