Where can I find the frequencies for BC60XLT for Chippewa county, Wisconsin. Thank you.

I can suggest some resources that you can use to find the frequencies you're looking for.
One option is to check the website of the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office or the local government website for information on radio frequencies used by their departments. Another option is to visit the website of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and use their online database to search for radio frequencies assigned to Chippewa County.
You can also try searching for online forums or groups of radio enthusiasts or scanner hobbyists that may have information on frequencies used in the Chippewa County area.
It's important to note that you may need a license or permission to use certain frequencies, and it's always a good idea to check local regulations and guidelines before using any radio equipment.

Local police, sheriff and fire are not received anymore, but can pick up distant city police, airports and hwy patrol. Have Pro 2096 model and have not tried any fixes.

With the distant services still coming in, it's probable that your local agencies have changed from single-frequency operations to a trunked system or, if already trunked, that frequency/user assignments have been updated within the system. Can you listen to a police frequency if it's trunked with this scanner? Uniden BC72xlt

You can listen to trunked police bands UNLESS: 1 they went Digital and your scanner is Analog. 2. They use an encrypted control frequency. 3. It is not against the law in your area. 4. you have a Trunked scanner. Following trunked frequencies requires a trunked scanner which is very different from regular everyday scanners. If the photo of your scanner is accurate then it appears you have Digital capability so that won't be a problem. You can go to Radio shack and purchase a book on Public Safety frequencies and Control Frequencies which will give you the proper frequency range but they will tell you nothing about Encryption on any Frequency. If you can not find a Control Frequency then you will not be able to track the hoping that is used in a trunked system. By the way, a Regular scanner runs about $50 where as a Trunked Scanner runs $150 to $200.

Need the frequences, for my scanner for the east bay area Oakland police, dispatch, Alameda county sheriff. Anything. This way greatly appreciated thanks

All of the Oakland services use the Alemeda County trunked system, described here:

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=352

There are a ton of interesting channels in the East Bay area that aren't trunked though -- take a look here:

Police frequency code for the city of southgate, ca . i have a uniden police scanner however i can not seem to find the city codes. do you know where i might be able to find these codes?

For a comprehensive database of active frequencies in your area (they're no codes), visit:

www.RadioReference.com

There's a good chance that your community has changed from conventional frequency usage to a trunked radio system. If that's the case you can read up on it at RadioReference.com, but you won't be able to monitor the action with your current scanner.
