It's unlikely you will ever be able to print directly as there are too many android tablet / printer combinations for printer manufacturers to consider writing all the drivers needed. I suppose there may be an intelligent one day that could receive say an email attachment for printing!

Instead you could research cloud printing or print via your PC.

That depends on your operating system. If you are using windows, you click on file at the upper left corner. Then click on print in the drop down list. The print dialog box opens, allowing you to choose which printer, how many copies and all the other printing properties. When done, you simply click on print in the lower right corner and your project will print. murf427

If you have a Mac you can do it this way


Make sure you have the Pages app installed on your iPad.
Connect the iPad to your computer using the appropriate USB cable.
Open iTunes, then locate your iPad in the source list and select the Apps tab. Scroll down to access the File Sharing Pane.
The File Sharing Pane is a centralized location where you can manage the transfer of documents to and from your iPad. To print, transfer the desired document from the iPad to the Mac's hard drive. Then simply open and print using a device connected to that Mac or a device on the Mac's network.


Alternatively, e-mail yourself any documents you want to print, then open them on a Mac with printer access and print from there.

Print function only works with e-print printers,such as HP.

But keep in mind that printing is still not great for iPad even with these Apps (please read the reviews before you buy), and the next version of iPads apparently will have printing capabilities.
