ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101A1 Tablet Computer Questions & Answers
How do i reset my asus transformer tablet tf101 i have a blank screen will not turn on
Perform a soft or hard reset on your Asus Eee Pad Transformer Android tablet if it is not functioning correctly. Here's how.
Soft Reset
You would want to soft reset the device in the event that it has become frozen or unresponsive. To do so, press and hold the Power button on the top-left side of the device for about 10 seconds until the device powers off.
Hard Reset
A hard reset
(also known as a factory reset) will clear all data and settings from the memory of the device and set it back to factory default settings. You can perform hard reset on the Asus Eee Pad using the Android OS menus or the hardware buttons.
Method 1
1. Power the Eee Pad off.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down button on the left side of the device, then press and hold the Power button.
3. Continue to hold both buttons until a bootloader screen appears.
4. Wait for the prompt that says to "Press <VOL_UP>" then press the Volume Up button to start the process.
The Asus Eee Pad will complete the hard reset process and reboot into a factory default state.
Method 2
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Select Privacy.
3. Choose Factory data reset.
4. Select Erase tablet.
5. Select Erase everything. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at

Can't open internet brawser IE.its open to asus.com
Just change the settings. If you are getting to the "asus.com" site then the browser is working. If you want it to open to a different site, tap on the 3 dots in the upper right portion of the page. This will open a new dialog box. Go to the settings and from there you should be able to set a new homepage to open to.
I do not know which browser you are using, but recommend google) Download the app from the Play Store

IE (Internet Explorer) does not work on ASUS tablets as it is windows based and your tablet is running Android operating system. stick with Google or maybe Firefox browsers.

Spark from charging port
Were you using the right charger? Just because the plug fits doesn't necessarily mean the current is right. Normal charging voltage is about 5V, not nearly enough to cause a spark, so it doesn't sound good to me. If it's still under warranty (or even if it's not) this may need a trip to tech support
