If your Canon IR2520 is jamming in the exit tray after initializing the machine, it could be caused by a few different issues:
Paper tray: Make sure that the paper tray is loaded correctly and that the paper is not jammed or loaded incorrectly. Also, check if the paper tray is not overfilled or if the paper is not wrinkled.
Pick-up roller: The pick-up roller is responsible for picking up paper from the tray and feed it to the printer. Check if it is dirty or worn out.
Exit guide: The exit guide is responsible for directing the paper out of the machine. Make sure that it is not blocked or bent, which could cause the paper to jam.
Fuser: The fuser unit could be malfunctioning. The fuser is responsible for heating and fusing the toner to the paper. If it is not working properly, it could cause paper jams.
Feed rollers: The feed rollers are responsible for feeding the paper through the printer. Check if they are dirty or worn out.
Paper jam sensor: The paper jam sensor may be malfunctioning. If the sensor is not working correctly, it may not detect a jam and the printer will continue to try to feed paper through.
It is recommended to check the copier's manual or consult with the manufacturer's technical support to troubleshoot the problem. They may provide more specific instructions for your specific model and can guide you through the process of finding and fixing the problem.
These are general suggestions and your specific case may require different actions.

Dear Abdullah
pl. check the machine base where it stay, it should be plain and firm.
Next check the left side door(test it by pushing inside while making copy). check the fixing assembly and paper path, may be toner clogged on its surface.
If your machine covered more than 200000 A4 copies, check the paper path (guide) at registration sensor and delivery guide at fixing unit.
If the paper jam at paper pickup tray, replace the pickup roller set (2nos.)
Since you have not mentioned the page counter and where paper jam occurs, its difficult to assume more.
Check all the paper movement from the tray, left or right cover, front cover, if so then remove jammed paper. Otherwise the paper sensor spring guide missing or fell off from its original position. Check carefully where the sensor locate. paper sensors detect all the paper movement in the machine during copying or printing, so locate the place in the machine which the paper usually jammed, see the screen of the machine, it will locate the place where the paper jammed mostly. Sensor not return to it original position that is why ( remove paper jam keeps blinking)
My paper is stuck and jammed in the feeder. I cant add new paper because of the jam. The new paper crinkles up as it feeds. Is there a way to remove the jam of paper that's stuck inside ?
If a document jam occurs during a transmission, the message "DOCUMENT JAM" is displayed. If this occurs, follow the procedure below. It is recommended that a duplicate from a copier, of the jammed document be used to reduce the chance of a jam when resending the document. See Chapter 3, "Loading Documents" for document specifications and recommendations which may help avoid paper jams. Note: The power can be left ON when clearing a paper jam. Typical Causes of Document Jams Recommended Procedure The document is fed at an angle. Adjust the Document Guides to the edges of the document. The document paper is too thin or too thick. Make a duplicate using a copier and use the copy as the sending document. Document has tape or pieces of paper taped to it. Remove the tape or make a duplicate using a copier and use the copy as the sending document. The Control Panel Cover is not fully closed. Close the Control Panel Cover fully. The document is stapled. Remove the staple(s), or make a duplicate using a copier and use the copy as the sending document. Basic Troubleshooting 1. Remove all documents from the Document Support. 2. Open the Control Panel Cover. 3. Remove the document jam. Remove any pieces of paper, paper clips, or staples that may have caused the jam. 4. Close the Control Panel Cover. 5. Verify the display has returned to the Standby Mode.
you can actually modify the feed mech... take out the feed roller and remove the rubber... try adding musking tape around the plastic roller and then insert the rubber back.. this will make it bulky.. normally only add 2 round of musking tape..
Probelm with pick up rubber. Replace paper feeder or just replace the rubber. Or add thickness of rubber by adding flexible double tape (about 1 mm). Add just for upper rubber.
OK, if the printer says jam but no paper inside and prints after you open and close the cover the paper likely never made it out of the tray. Or the machine thinks the page never made it out of the machine.
As far as input check your rollers 1 in the tray and the pick up roller in the machine if you don't have alot of pages on the machine these likely OK.
Next (and this I have found often) check the paper back stop in the tray. This is the guide to set the length of paper. If it is set just a little long the roller cannot catch the edge of the paper. Sometimes the teeth the guide sets in are broken or worn.
The output would be the sensor in the fuser replace fuser.
Hope this helps
