Screen Size is Too Big

The subject is pretty self explanitory. The picture extends beyond the screen and I end up not being able to see the top, left, right, and bottom part of whatever im watching. This is perticularly annoying when watching movies which require subtitles... If anyone knows a way to fix it, Id be grateful for a solution. Also, Ive tried messing with every setting there is in the menu but nothing works.

Yeah, I've got the same problem, but it IS with the D32F51, but my specifics might be a little different.

I am sending an HD-RGB signal to the TV and I am stuck with one of two errors. One, I send the display area @ 800x600 and the TV doesnt' register the signal. OR two, I send it at a higher size and then the display area extends beyong the screen so that I don't see the full desktop.

My tv has same problem I opened it up but it only has horizontal adjustment and no vertical

There should be a vertical height adjustment control potentiometer near the vertical output IC on the right side of the PC board near the front section of the TV that can be adjusted to shrink the picture vertically. Be careful not to short anything out or getting yourself shocked in the process if you decide to try to adjust it yourself. Good luck. This chassis has also been known to have bad solder connections in that area also, so don't man-handle the printed circuit board roughly.

JUST PURCHASED A 60 INCH DLP TELEVISION MOST TV CHANNELS ARE NOT FULL SCREEN.... WHAT STEPS DO I TAKE TO INLARGE THE PICTURE TO FIT THE 60 INCH SCREEN ?

Channels that transmit in 480 or 720 may not fill the screen. You can use the Aspect or Zoom button or feature to expand those channels to fill the screen but there may be some stretching in one direction or parts of the picture may extend beyond the edge of the TV. Some TVs have a "justified" setting that will not distort the center of the picture and just stretches the corners. Look in your manual for Picture Size, Aspect, or Zoom for details about your TV.

Picture and text extend beyond screen

Your tv needs to be put into service mode with the original Sony remote control and then set the vertical\horizontal size parameter to the correct values and then burn the new settings to memory
Google " sony tv service mode " and you should find the procedure. Good Luck! Write back if you have problems.

Try your format button... or your wide/size button... they're all a bit different but they all have different screen size capabilities.
