Blinking lights on my hp deskjet 840c printer

What is the meaning of blinking power light and the 2 lights below on my hp deskjet 840c printer? the error appears this disk is not windows200 supported?

There should be some error .So you know how to remove the catridges just remove it n re insert it properly.If there are any paper jams try removing it also.and by the way if you haven't installed the drivers for HP deskjet this problem may arise.So make sure you ahve don this.Also this can be happened if the printer have some hardware problems.So none of this solutions are working its better to consult it with an expert.

Printer hp deskjet 840c blinking green and red light why
Depends which red blinking light. I assume the red light is the resume light. The green light is the power light. If the Power and the Resume light are blinking alternately, then you have a paper jam somewhere in the printer. remove the paper jam and you should be fine.

I bought a new 23 tri-color cartridge for my old hp 840C deskjet printer. the ink light keeps blinking. when I put in the old cartridge which is nearly empty, the light stops blinking and it prints a page
Are you using original cartridges by HP? If you are using the 'copy' manufacturers, they don't always work.

If HP, check you've removed all packaging, especially around the nozzel and circuit contacts. Look for sticky tape to be removed.

Replacement cartridge causes the cartridge caution light to blink...Put old one back and it stops.. Is this a bad cartridge?
are you using genuine HP or generic carts? they are chipped so you have to use HP mostlt.

Ive have replaced my black ink cartridge in my hp deskjet 840c however the the orange flashing light wont stop flashing and i cant get the priter to print anything help :S
Return the cartridge and get a refund, it's defective. Make sure you buy brand-name cartridges, too.
