Some models have one gas pilot for 2 burner front and rear and there is a small pipe that goes front the burner to to the pilot, the burner has small holes facing the pipe the goes to the pilot that's where you take a paper clip or a safety pin and clear or clean the holes, the same thing on the electronic ignition, but some electronic ignition they have a spark right nest to the burner and by looking at the other burner that are working you can see where it's sparking, and clean in between the burner and the spark.

Pilot lights go out because the Thermocoupler is either bad or not getting hot enough. It will be a copper tube that should touch the pilot light flame. these are replaceable and usually any appliance repair supplier can get you one. Some units reuire changing out the entire gas control

How do i re ignite the pilot light

Hi

The surface on this range have standing pilots that must be lit initially. To light them:
1. Be sure the surface burner control knobs are in the "OFF" position.
2. Remove the grates and cook top.
3. Locate the pilot ports and light each of them with a match. Replace the cook top and grates.

Light the oven burner pilot in the following manner:
1. Be sure the oven control knob is in the "OFF" position.
2. Remove the broiler carriage.
3. Hold a lighted match at the top forward section of the pilot (See diagram). No adjustment is required.
4. Replace the broiler carriage.
Hope this helps...

Hi. i have a vermont castings radiance stove, RDV40. the pilot light went out and won't reignite. yes, the gas is on. i've followed the manual -- turning the control knob to pilot and pressing the ignition...

check to make sure your pilot orfice is not clogged it will be located at the end of the small tube coming from your gas control valve if its not then while you are trying to light the pilot tap the side of the gas valve (sometims somewhat hard) if it then lights you know you have a bad gas valve

I just got my (new to me) pre-1990 Wolf 36'' range connected (by a certified pro). 4 burners, 12'' fry top/charbroiler/cheesemelter thingie on left, 4 burners on right, 29'' oven - propane. It has not been...

the oven pilot has 2 setting first setting is for you to light small flame, should not be all yellow if it is it has a dirty orifice inside the pilot hood, you can remove this by disconnecting the pilot line from the hood and removing orifice for cleaning, just rub it with a cloth.once clean and replaced you light pilot and check it out. if its ok turn on oven and secondary pilot will ignite that why it got bigger!! this heats a flame sensor to allow 100% safty vavle to open to let gas into burner so yuo can cook.

Burners on top will not light with the pilot lights

To Clean:
IMPORTANT:
Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and
the oven and cooktop are cool. Do not use oven cleaners, bleach
or rust removers.
1. Remove the burner cap from the burner base and clean
according to “General Cleaning” section.
2. Clean the gas tube opening with a damp cloth.
3. Clean clogged burner ports with a straight pin as shown. Do
not enlarge or distort the port. Do not use a wooden
toothpick. If the burner needs to be adjusted, contact a
trained repair specialist.
4. Replace the burner cap, making sure the alignment pins are
properly aligned with the burner cap.
5. Turn on the burner. If the burner does not light, check cap aligment.

I have a dayton furnace with a honeywell vr8440p-2088 gas control. The ignition works fine but the problem is I am getting no gas it seems to light the pilot. I checked the orifices at the end of the pilot...

I had the same problem with the same honeywell vr8440p2088 gas controler.  I found out the nob to turn on the pilot was broken.  If you can pull the knob off it is broken.  The knob has two small teeth on it to keep the pilot and gas open.  good look finding a replacment knob as the part is not made anymore.  But there is a relacement part for it.  it just costs about 250.00.

Older 6 burner wolf commercial range ignition problem.

If it were the gas regulator, existing flames would go down as more burners are turned on.

There are set screws on the pilot fittings that come out of the manifold, you could try turning those Counter-clockwise to turn the pilots up. (Don't loosen them all the way, they will fall out!) If that doesn't work chances are the pilot stems will have to be replaced to get a higher pilot flame.
