Need help with rotary hook timing on a Tajima Sai 8 needle embroidery machine

Sewing machine timing is a skilled job. Better to take it in for cleaning and service.

Or you try yourself

I had just cleaned and oiled the hook and bobbin area. I’m having a hard time putting the hook back in. Tricky!Could you help me? I need a picture

The hook and the hook driver fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. Rotate the hand wheel until the driver is on the left. Hold the hook spindle with your right hand and place it into the the hook race adjacent to the hook driver. This is easier to do with the head tilted back slightly, making it easier to see when positioning the hook and also provides stabiliity so the hook doesn't fall out. At this point, you can install the hook cover, using the keyway at the bottom of the cover to position it properly. Lock the cover in place using the latches on either side of the hook base.

What is Kahle Snelled Hooks

The Eagle Claw Snelled Kahle Hook is a pre-snelled kahle style hook designed for live and cut baits when fishing in saltwater or freshwater. The snelled kahle hook, from Eagle Claw, are constructed around an offset, up-eye kahle hook which exhibits a wide bend that is ideal for using live, cut or prepared baits. The Kahle style hooks are preferred by some anglers due to their tendency to hook fish more securely. Highlighted by a wider gap, the Kahle hook design places the hook farther back in the fish's mouth to eliminate tearing out the lip. Because the Kahle hook's eye and point are on the same plane, the hook is much easier to remove. The hooks are pre-snelled with premium monofilament line offering an easy alternative to tying up your own snelled hooks. We offer the #147 Eagle Claw Snelled Kahle Hooks in ten sizes: 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1/0 and 2/0. The hooks are bronze in color and come 6 per pack.

Hello, My bobbin thread was caught and as I was trying to get it out the hook system (I believe that is what it is) came out. How do I replace it?

You have a CB hook on your machine and this is very easy to remove and replace. In fact, you should remove the hook to clean the hook race and give it a drop of oil every few bobbins-worth of thread anyway, so if you're not doing that, your machine is probably trying to tell you something !!! I am assuming that the hook has simply dropped out of the mechanism and not that the whole hook and hook driver have come out, leaving a big hole in the hook race - if this has happened, you will need to replace the hook driver and its screw in the correct orientation, otherwise the machine timing will be out - if this is the case, you may be able to do the job yourself - contact me. Assuming it's just the hook, first-off, remove the bobbin/bobbin case from the central shaft on the hook. I am assuming the black plastic hook retainer has dropped-down and is laying on the bobbin door ... if not, you're in trouble !!! Rotate the handwheel on the machine until the needle is at the top of its travel. Look in the bobbin door at the hook race and you will see that the hook driver (a black plastic disc with a metal part curving round one edge) is positioned with the metal part on your left. Pick up the hook by the shaft and orientate it so that the metal is on the right - i.e. its a mirror to the hook driver. Carefully insert the hook into the hook race until it drops into the race itself and sits with the point downwards and a little bit of play between the hook and hook driver. It should stay there if there's a bit of oil in the hook race. You might like to use the opportunity to put one drop of Bernina oil into the hook race so that it flows into the groove that runs around the inside. Once the hook is sitting in the hook race, you only need to close the black plastic retainer onto it and press it until the lever on the left clicks into place firmly - that's probably why it dropped-out in the first place. Before putting the bobbin back in , just rotate the handwheel once to make sure nothing is binding - this will also distribute the oil if you've oiled it. Refit your bobbin/bobbin case, close the door and off you go.

There's no place on modem to hook router

Look for Ethernet jacks. You want to hook both your computer and your daughter's laptop to the router to out ports i.e. usually on the front side. The back side of router would hook using probably another Ethernet jack to your modem.
