I'm trying to re-install my Dell Aio 926 printer with the official cd that came with the whole Dell package. After the setup, I try to print a test page, but nothing prints! When I open up the "All-in-One center," a message box keeps popping up saying "The Dell Photo AIO Printer 926 printer driver is not installed. Please reinstall your printer driver."
Hi, The problem here is that the CD has an older version of
the driver which has some known issues. Few steps will be required to fix this.

Hi, the drivers may not be supporting your Operating system or are not compatible with your OS. Check user manual for compatibility ie 32 bit or 64 bit OS, Hardware Compatibility etc. If everything is ok, than first remove the drivers from control panel if listed.
Restart your computer
Download drivers form official site
Install the updated drivers
You can also take the help of third party technical support team if still facing the drivers related problem.

I have the same problem, although with Dell Photo AIO 922. At first I had trouble printing to the printer while networked, but I am getting the same error with the printer connected directly to my PC.
Dell AI1 962 Ive done everthing ,but still get the message, reinstall, the driver is not installed. Ive used the dell disc and downloaded the hardware off the dell site. Is there any solution....apart from buy a new one !!

I am having a similar problem. After install, I can print one document. When I go to print a second document I get the error "Printer Status Window Interface has stopped working". I have to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers before I can print another page. Then the cycle starts all over again. I am calling Dell tomorrow.
IT DOESNT WORK AND PISSIS ME OFF
First problem started when I tried to scan with AIO 962 and it wouldn't scan. I was trying different things to get it to work. I decided to uninstall and then install again. Since then the printer won't install at all.

after installing the latest printer drive for Dell AIO 962 (note not 926), I keep gett the same message. print driver not installed. Then Im asked if I want to install the driver.
I type in the serial number on the back of my pirnter and select xp operating system. Im on xp sp 3. Does any one have solution for this end less loop?
