Product key problem for Hp 530

I can't access my microsoft office excel 2007. It keeps asking me for my product key. However, each time i enter the 25 digit product key indicated under my laptop it keeps rejecting it.

My laptop is a brand new hp 530 Duo Core window vista. please do assist me.

    Thanks Mr Crayzeentrayn but i can't seem to find the CD anywhere. Like it didn't come with the jacket. Would anyone happen to have a windows vista CD with the office key label on it??? Anyone??? I did appreciate that alot.

The 25digit key .. is probably the vista key. You need to get the Office key. Usually this is on the jecket for that Office CD

It has to be activated by microsoft, so visit their site and check genuine certification for MS Office and once microsoft recognizes it at genuine, they should be able to give the activation key or else provide the means to do so....sodeep(i.e. if it genuine)

Do you have a Microsoft Office license sticker on the bottom of your laptop?

All new laptops come with a trial of Microsoft office. Once the trial expires you have to contact them to buy a key.

call microsoft 800 #. they will ask you to describe the cd and read some numbers off the inner ring of the cd or something like that. if it a legal cd they should be able to get you a new key. other than that you will have to purchase another copy
