go to the manufacturer site and download the manual ...not just the schematic...in the manual you have the picture with the pin numbering ..and the functions .(places on the plug ..) and the wires are labeled

just change the placement of pin 7 to pin 4, but its only to solved the error massage, the front panel audio will not work properly e6f61c3.jpg

HI,
Installing the HP DC 7700 Drivers is a little tricky. You may have installed the drivers and its not working I guess. This is because the HP DC-7700 has HD Sound and it required "Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture Bus, which can be downloaded/ installed from the following link. Choose the Operating system you have on your PC and get the drivers.

1796 sata cabling error
Make sure your Sata connection start from Sata 0 and on up. You'll get the 1796 error when you have sata drives or devices plugged in other sata connections, Like: Your first Hard drive in sata 0 your second drive in sata 1 your optic drive in sata 2....You system (BIOS) will automatically start at sata 0 then sata 1 and so fourth.

It's not a fuser problem. It's the fuser drive assembly(RG5-7700-000CN) or it could be the DC Controller(RG5-7684-000CN)

E197 0000 is a Printer engine communication error.
A erroneous comm's error occured between the DC controller PCB and
image processor PCB was detected.
Prnter needs servicing
Check cabling connections on theDC controller PCB and image
processor PCB.
If still same then you have to replace DC controller pcb.
If still fials then you have to replace the image processor pcb.
