Am unable to connect tata photon in apple macbook

insert usb modem -launch system preferencies and click the icon network icon you should see qualcomn cdma...add the following settings

ppp service provider=tata
account name=internet
password=internet
telephone no=#777
modem=modem au cdma 1x winw01k
vendor=au by kddi
model=wxxx[pc card]

enable error connetcion

first thing is check to see if the program is compatible with Windows 7 ?
secondly did you check to see if your model of laptop is compatible with windows 7 ?

the kernels have changed on windows 7 and may not let some programs run on 7,this is to provide better protection for the pc users and to stop hackers and viruss and unwanted things etc,you still need to set up some form of protection for your self tho

Go to the manufactuers site for the modem drivers
check the compatibility of w7 while your there too..

Hello Friend,

Uninstall the driver first. Now re install the driver with administrator rights. This can be achieved by right-clicking on setup file and select "Run as Administrator"
