Not all Video format are supported by the Sansa Fuze: make sure you use 'Sansa Media Converter' to convert your video to a suitable format which could include (from Sandisk manual): 3gp/3gpp2, ASF, AVI, DAT, DivX(ver 6.0), DVR-MS, MOV, MP4, MPEG 1,
QT, WMV
Download and install the "Sansa Firmware Updater", connect your Fuze, and run the Updater. Besides making sure that your Fuze has the most up-to-date firmware, it'll allow you to download the "Sansa Media Converter", which can convert most videos directly onto your Fuze in a format that it can play.
You need the videos to be in MPEG-4 file format. Other formats will need to be converted by many of the free converters found by Googling "mpeg 4 converter"
You could try another video converter like Wondershare Video Converter Platinum I always use, it could convert between all popular Video formats ( AVI, MKV, MP4, WMV, FLV, MPEG etc.) that support all popular portable media players (such as Zune/Zune HD, iPod/iPhone and PSP) and the latest iPod Nano 5G, iPod Touch 3, iPhone 3GS/OS 3.1.
From pp. 19-20 of the manual:
You can use the Sansa Media Converter to transfer photos and videos to your
