I managed to resolve this issue. TV was apparently set to store demo mode which can be turned off under the Tools menu.

Apparently it's on demo-mode so you have to go to 1. Set up 2. Plug and play 3. Then change to home instead of demo

SOURCE: Samsung LN-S4051D slow to turn on.

You are likely to have a module bad....part number BN94-00864A and if you take it out (unpluggs) you should inspect it for capacitors that may be domed or pooched up at the top. If so they should be replaced first before getting the module as the capacitors are about $1.00 each. Do a search for Samsung parts online if you need the module and call them toll free

SOURCE: samsung tv turning off by itself

I have the same problem of the set turning off and on by itself. There is a circuit in Samsung TVs that would shut it down if a very loud noise occurs in the program being watched, but I have not noticed that correlation. My problem is solved by vacuuming the back panels of the set. They do not seem to have any significant dust on them, but I think the vacuum sucks somewhat inside of the TV and does some good with the fan that is supposed to be cooling the bulb and the mirror. It seems to work for months on end and when the problem recurrs, I vacuum again.

If you take the back off you might find a couple of bulged electrolytic caps on the power supply board that need change, or just buy a new power supply at www.partstore.com

Sony 65X8505C LED TV. Why does it display Sony Logo, then turn off?

You can unplug it for a while, but probably worn out and cheaper to buy new at walmart.

Hello I have a Samsung TV Model UN40B6000VFUZA Version BN01. the problem is that the TV won't turn on even though the back light under the TV logo keeps flashing. what part is needed to fix my TV?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

I have tcl led m. no 24d20 only displays tcl logo and then no responce

Unplug the tv and hold the on/off switch on the tv (not remote) for 30 seconds. This should clear any power left in your electronic boards. Then plug it back in and try again. Also try bringing up the menu, and see if there's an option "factory default", and try that.

Samsung logo in left upper screen

Search thru the setups in the menu for a store/home setting. Sounds like it may be set to a demo mode that would be used in a store.

What's your problem?

First, make sure this isn't coming from your signal source; these items are not listed in any of the functions described in the manual for your monitor.
If disconnecting, changing or turning off your signal source doesn't get rid of the control item display, try resetting the monitor (maybe the display has some extra firmware features not in the documentation):
  1. Press the Menu button on the side of the monitor.
  2. From the On-Screen Display, navigate to the Setup&Reset menu using the arrow buttons, then press the Source/Select button.
  3. Navigate to "Reset" and select it.
This should restore everything to the factory default setting and get the TV/monitor out of whatever mode it's in.
