You will have to change the paper tray settings on ricoh to match the settings in your driver too. Also being a Ricoh you may have to create a custom size with in the driver to get it to work. What size are the envelopes?

fuser error will need to fix fuser first then reset code

542 is usually a fuser error. Thermistors. You should give your local Ricoh agent a call let a technician come and fix thermistors with new ones.

Try going into the diagnostics of the printer.
Either in the menu, or network connection.

Try running a clean process if this has one.
How long had your toner run out for.
Try pulling all toners out, then see if you can pull out the spool drum (printing drum)
check that they are all clear.
Are you using original toners, or remanufactured ?

Also check if you have an excess toner cup.
This may be full and require either emptying or replacing.

Drum Motor Lock Error.

The instructions for getting the page count for the C210SF should be the same as for the C231SF:

- Press User Tools.
- Scroll down until you see Reports Print.
- Press OK.
- Scroll down to either Configuration Page (2 pages long, prints in black and white) or Maintenance Page (1 page long, prints in color).
- Press OK.

Both the configuration page and the maintenance page will show the page counts. For page count instructions on other models of copiers or printers, check out ConfigPages.Blogspot.com.

The bypass tray is not designed properly, when an envelope is set on the tray, the wheel is not in contact with the envelope. I just lifted the end of the envelope until the wheel could grab it and the envelope printed. So simple :)

you have to tell the printer in the print que that you are using envelopes and what size envelope.

Printing EnvelopesEnvelopes can be printed from the optional envelope feeder, the Multi-Purpose Tray, or Tray 1, 2, or 3.
Guidelines for envelope printing

• Use only paper envelopes.
  
• Do not print on the back of the envelope.
  
• Never use envelopes with windows, metal clasps, or exposed gummed surfaces.
  
• Keep unused envelopes in their packaging to avoid the effects of moisture and dryness, which can affect print quality and cause wrinkling.
  
• Envelopes may wrinkle depending on weight and stiffness of the envelope.

Many applications include a tool for creating an envelope document. For example, Microsoft Word includes an Envelopes and Labels feature in the Tools menu. Be sure to:

• Select faceup.
  
• Clear Clockwise Rotation.
  
• Select the feed method with the image centered and the stamp on the envelope to the upper left.

Never use envelopes with windows, metal clasps, or exposed gummed surfaces; they can damage the printer. Damage caused by using unsupported envelopes might not be covered by your printer's warranty.
Note: The heat from the printing process can melt certain types of envelope glue. If the envelope flap sticks shut after printing the test print, tuck the flaps inside the envelopes when printing the remaining envelopes. Printing envelopes from the envelope feeder

1. Insert the envelopes into the envelope feeder. For more information, refer to the Trays section of the Trays and Paper Guide on the Interactive Documentation CD-ROM.
   
   • Place the side to be printed faceup.
     
   • The top of the envelopes should be toward the left of the printer.
