The easiest way for you to find the correct driver is to find the name of your Bluetooth device through your ystem information page. Click on start>programs>accessories>system tools>system info.
Then go to the original manufacturers website and download drivers. This will activate your Bluetooth.

Don't forget to rate this solution.

SOURCE: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: iexplore.exe

the nice thing about IE7 is that it has a nice easy way to fix alot of problems.
click on tools, internet properties, advanced and then click the last button on the page, the one about resetting to defaults..any bad or bogus addons become disabled and any bunged up security settings go to their defaults.
after this, you'll have to re-enter your homepage and install addons like flash player and java, but that generally solves any issues you might be happening. what is the website? it could not be a problem on your end but some bad code in their site.

SOURCE: A problem regarding bluetooth

You need to install the bluetooth software, if you have a disk, install from there. Otherwise look on the manufacturers website for the drivers and other software you may want. the bluetooth device itself is just the hardware, you need both the software and the hardware, good luck,
PS, also mention what operating system you have, because XP doesn't support it even though it will work on XP, that's a MSFT thing, they would rather say they don't support something than have it work properlly with their software

SOURCE: Lenova computer running Vista crashes

Weird category.  Seems OS- or program-specific enough.

The exception codes are supposed to give you insight into what's going on, (Intel exceptions C000 00029 and E043 4F4D in the context of Vista or your CPU in particular, say) but perhaps you should try the Vista equivalent of WinXP's RunAs options, where you can run them as older applications and dodge some incompatibilities.

Similarly, you might want to create a VM (or runtime jail; many, many options to be had there...) and try it in that context, so that if the program's spoiling things at least your system won't need to worry or crash.  The easiest thing of course is to find updates of those programs that promise to play well with Vista.

I reformatted and lost all drivers

Hello i can`t help with the data, they are probably lost for good.

But i can maybe help you vith the drivers.

Lenovo has the support for your pc:

http://download.lenovo.com/express/tvsu.html

This software only work when the pc is online.

The software will find the drivers again, you just have to install the one for your windows system.

Or use this to select the pc model manualy:

By selecting the model, and number.

Boutht new Acer4738 laptop recently. I tried to install Bluetooth driver which came along with driver CD . However, I'm getting No Bluetooth device was detected error. Also, Fn+F3 also not working.

Your computer may not actually have Bluetooth capability. Bluetooth is one of those features that is "on certain models only", according to Acer's site. My daughter's Aspire has a Bluetooth switch on it, and Bluetooth drivers on the CD, but no Bluetooth card is installed. I discovered this when I opened her computer to see why the Bluetooth wasn't working. I've found this to be true for several other models since. This strikes me as misleading and possibly false advertising, but I'm not an attorney.

The only way I have ever found to be sure if the computer has Bluetooth is to open it up and look on the board. Depending on how new "new" is, your computer might still be under warranty so you probably shouldn't bother. Instead, you can try contacting the retailer where you purchased the machine and see if they offer warranty service. Or follow the process given in your manual or on Acer's site for obtaining service. Then if your model does have Bluetooth installed they can fix it, or you'll know for sure it wasn't installed. Then you can buy a USB Bluetooth adapter.

I have an s10-2 lenovo and recently there's something wrong with it. before starting up it lets out a ringing sound and now i found out my webcam isnt working..>.< pls help

Hi There,

This is probably a motherboard issue, or drivers - try reformatting the machine (reinstalling windows and drivers) and see how it goes. If this doesnt work, its a hardware issue and the motherboard will need to be replaced.

Acer 5580 Bluetooth and USB port problem

There may be a bent connector on one of the USB ports or a defective USB controller on the motherboard. The bluetooth connector may not have been reconnected or the bluetooth module was not reinstalled after service. Sadly you will need to have it serviced again. They most likely will not replace it it with a new laptop, but maybe a refurbished one. You could push for a warranty extension for amount of time the system has been due to need of repair. Good Luck.
