Watch might need a superior or best quality battery that hasn't been in stock for long...
Few modern watches need a new battery every year and most in my experience will last at least a couple of years so the watch is probably faulty and it is a shame you didn't return it while it was under warranty.
A decent jeweller/horologist should be able to check this and advise you.
After changing the battery press and hold all the buttons at the same time to reset this will make the watch and battery works properly so that the battery wont drain easily. I hope I have been helped you.
These babies are notorious for going down the tubes with a battery change. I bet if you get it back it won't work with a new battery. Twice I have replaced batteries and the watch didn't work when I finished. One of them was my own watch, I think $450 is about half the price of a new watch and that is sad. Cool watch just not very long life
On average, I've found that analog wristwatches that use a silver oxide (or alkaline) battery last about a year after a fresh battery has been installed. Digital watches, because they have no moving parts, will typically last longer on a set of batteries if you're not using the alarm or backlight function. Watches that use lithium batteries generally last two years or more between battery changes.
Based on your model watch, I would guess that your battery has run down too far to power the movement. A fresh battery will probably fix your watch. Hint: in the future, if you aren't going to wear your watch for a while, pull the stem out into the "set" position. That will stop the movement and extend the life of your battery. When you want to wear the watch, simply set the time (and date, if you have a date window) and push the stem back in.
Thank you for contacting FixYa.
After a battery is replaced, some watches require new gaskets, or O rings, etc to keep the watch water resistant. Prob the case with your watch. I would check with a qualified local watch repair or try Gucci at following link: http://www.gucci.com/us/assistance/assistance

mcdevito75 here, It"s possible the battery could be so ever slightly loose, or the battery could be weak and need changeing. Also possible, the quartz mechanism could be going bad and movement of the watch while wearing it keeps it going, with the watch off your wrist and at rest, it's just to weak to keep moving on it"s own. Best Bet is to look for a small watch repair shop in your area and have them check out your watch.
mcdevito75 here, Even the best watches, Wind-up and Quatz give out over time, components simply wear down. If the battery is over 1 year old, even though it still test good at 1.5 volts Change it. Also check with the repair service right here on fixya, bottom of this page click on repair service directory then click on watches, maybe 1 of the watch repair people could, clean the watch or even change the quartz mechanism in the watch.
That's right- your watch needs battery replacement. No matter you wear it every day or just once a year - battery life comes to an end in a two years time approximately. Expect the same all over and over again.
Rate me, plz.
Your watch is an automatic watch which means it winds itself as long as you are wearing it. If you don't wear it for several days it will stop working. To solve this situation buy an automatic watch winder to keep your watch in while you are not wearing it and it will keep the correct time.
quickly press the bottom-left button twice. then, press the bottom-right button once, and then the top-right button once. this should add 1 to the day. keep pressing the top-right button until u get the right day, the press the top-right button again.
now, how do u change the time format back to twelve hr. ?
