Get error message: The process "usb" stopped unexpectedly with status 237.
Hello Kathi1603,
Please try these few things to see if they will get your printer running again. First off, check to make sure your USB cable is properly connected at both the computer end and printer end. If that's OK..then power cycle the printer.. try to print a test page by going to the control panel from your start button and then select Printers and Faxes.. using the right mouse button for your printer, selcet Properties then pick 'print a test page' see if that works.. If that fails, then transfer the USB can;e to another USB port on your computer and retry all the previous things.. When all else fails, restart your computer and see if you can print a test page to your printer.. Hope this helps get you going..
I had the same problem with my HP Photosmart C6150 connected to my Mac G3 PowerMac. I had installed two 4 port hubs in my computer to be able to have USB2 for some of my external devices which required it. I had plugged my printer into those new hub ports and got the status 237 message. I tried plugging the printer into one of the two original usb ports on the computer and the problem was solved.

Tried all of the above. The test page printed, USB cable OK & switched but still getting the same usb, problem 237
I have the same problem - but with my Epson R2400
I don't think it is my cable either.
Strangely, when I print SINGLE pages, rather than multiple, plus don't use any other applications while it is printing, it works! So maybe it is a memory issue?
When I have this error, I turn the printer off then back on, and print again.
