Please see carefylly this videos +Tip for instructions. Normally the voltage is main terminal for motor will be 110-115Vac, but carefully in other case will be 220Vac-230Vac, I recomend that you measure the Outlet( receptacle from the wall) if there are 115 or 230Vac Single Phase.

sincerely.

My belt will start but will stop right away with an error tone from the control panel. It also blew a fuse in that part of my house. Any ideas?

1) LUBE the deck belt, this happen because the lack of maintenance LUBE, and lube the rollers bearings too.See the video attached
2)Test the input voltage motor, if there ARE the motor need repair see my personal TIPS for motor help
3) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.
However you put some desklamp in the circuit if the breaker in tripped the problem is the outlet wall. Test the outlet+wires and ground for incorrect wires polarities see the diagram attached and fix it.
If the c.breaker are NOT tripped the problem is the treadmill. do the LUBE first.

Stopping problem

No.

1) LUBE The DECK BELT VERY WELL, see the video and proceed with common sense. this happen because the lack of maintenance according the instr. manual. This happen for to protect the electronic system.Maybe you have worn deck belt, and need replace, but first LUBE.

2) lube THE ROLLERS BEARING too, very well

3) Test the input voltage motor, if there are The motor NEED repair.

4) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.

see the block diagram.

Nordic Track treadmill A2105 will shut down and trip my HOME breaker while in use, what could be the problem? I have tried lubricating the belt and it worked a little longer than usual, but after abo

1) you must LUBE THE DECK BELT+ ROLLER BEARING.

2) Test the input voltage motor, if there are the MOTOR is faulty need REPAIR.

3) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.
4) SEE THE BLOCK DIAGRAM, whatever component can be faulty.
However you must test the power cord for short circuit between cable, repair, and look inside according the BLOCK, and proceed with logic, see any loose wires, or some wires touching the carcase, some filter, coil, power supply USE the VOM.
God bless you

I was using my Horizon Treadmill T1201, and in the middle of my workout my circuit breaker was tripped and lost power in my room. When I got power back, i turned on my treadmill and it reads a 5101 error...

Dear Sir:
You have a big SHORT CIRCUIT inside from your machine.

1) Test the input voltage and see the c. breaker reset 2) Test the fuse inside with your DVOM. 3) See if some wires is loose and tight 4) See if there are some component burn 5) Test the input voltage motor, if there are the motor is faulty 6) Test the output voltage for input voltage motor is there are NOT the board is FAULTY.

Of course you must sHURE the outlet from wall is o.k test the ground wires, and see any loose wires, or touching between them. DO NOT USE ANY EXTENSION CORD for your treadmill.

sincerely. God bless you

I have a nordic track 4100i treadmill.

1) Faulty sensor speed try to adjust it face to face magneto motor
2)Sensor speed try to tight the connector very well.
3) Replace if neceesary.4) Main motor faulty or burn. Test 115vac for input measure without load fore easy running.
5) Test the main motor controller board for 115vac input and output for +5VCD,
6) Adjust the deck bel for 2-3" for lift max.
7)Lubricate the deck bel.
8) Test the transformer for input and secondary voltage.
See the block diagram for illustration how the main motor controller has 90% aprox of function of any treadmills.

sincerely. Merry Christmas.

I can turn everything on but the belt does not move. I used it one morning and then that evening it would work

The single most cause of no motor output is failure of the DC motor control. Before you attempt to determine if it is the control, you must first rule out simple things.
1) Make sure you have power in the wall outlet by plugging in a lamp, etc. into the same outlet the treadmill is plugged into to test. Plug it in the exact same receptacle. Sometimes in an outlet one receptacle will work and the other won't.
2) Make sure any breakers are fuses that may have tripped or blown have been reset or replaced. Your local Radio Shack can help you test the fuses. Use the same type of fuse. Changing the value of the fuse can be dangerous or cause a fire.
3) Make sure the power switch is turned on and the safety key is inserted into the console if you have a safety key.
4) Look for any test lights on the power boards beneath the motor hood. Use caution when removing the motor hood because you may still have electricity in the motor area even if the treadmill is unplugged.
5) Test for a motor control failure. Typically if you have a failure, the treadmill will continue to turn on and operate normally until you try to input speed. If the treadmill operates on what we call a closed-loop system, it will give you some type of error message. If it operates on an open-loop system, the computer will run normally but the motor will not turn.
6) If you have a multimeter, you can test to make sure you have DC output from the controller spades. First make sure you have 120 VAC going in to the controller. On most controls, you can use a linear taper potentiometer or jump the W and H circuits of the control with an insulated wire or insulated pliers and apply AC voltage. The DC output spades should output DC voltage if the control is good.
7)
Cordless drill battery- get a fully-charged, 18 volt (preferred) cordless drill battery and on most treadmills connect the red and black motor leads to the battery (some have different colors but if you have two wires and get it hooked up backwards, the motor will just run backwards and won’t be harmed). If good, the motor should operate at about 1 MPH

My daughter plugged the unit into a 220 outlet i think. But I cant get to the fuse. is there a trick to opening and getting to it so i change it??

By the power switch their is a circuit breaker reset it. These units do not have a fuse for the main line AC if that does not restore power to the treadmill you may have a problem with the lower electronics . On opening the motor shroud their should be a couple screws holding the shroud carefully rotate and lift shroud off.

Treadmill trips electrics

Check to see that the treadmill does not draw more amp than stated in the owners manual. If you are, then the problem is in treadmill. If not try another circuit in the house (not just another receptacle).
