This sounds like the player needs to be aligned. Check the owner's manual or phone Sony and see if they can help. This is an adjustment that can be performed by the user - you. This is a Latin America model or Brazil. You may need to contact Sony in these regions.
Check with Sony in Latin America or Brazil. This sounds like the unit needs to be aligned. Alignment is something that can be done by the user or over the counter at a Sony service shop. This is a Latin America or Brazil model.
Sounds like you need to restore it in iTunes and reload it. It sounds to me like the data is corrupted and needs to be reloaded. Connect it to the computer and open iTunes. See if it lists the songs. If it does you may be able to fix the database by clicking on the first track and then pressing shift and clicking on the last track. That will select all of the songs. Then right click on the list and select either check selected or uncheck selected. It may rebuild the database and fix the problem. If it doesn't, reconnect it and when it shows up in the list on the left, left click on the iPod once and the info screen will come up. That will tell you what version on firmware you are running and so on. Under that there are 2 buttons. Update and Restore. Select restore and then reload it. That restores it back to factory but it will wipe all the data. One of those solutions should fix it.
Yes it might be fixable. Try restoring it, plug your iPod into your computer and open iTunes. select your device in iTunes, and under the picture of your iPod model there should be a button that says "Restore," click it. It may take a few minutes to restore.
Hope this helps!
