The device does power on, but when I push the switch to turn it on the display lights up and it stays on for about 5 seconds and then goes off. The on/standby button then just blinks. This unit is only 3 years on and I don't want to have to replace it if necessary. Does anyone know about this problem? If so, is it expensive to fix? Thanks for any help you can give. Ron
I have the exact same problme as listed above. The receiver light comes on for 5 seconds and then blinks red and shuts down. I do not see any solutions for htis posted.

i have a onkio htc r390
it has the same problem i did find this post that i am reserrching i think this may work The unit most likely blew up a capacitor. If you look in through the slots on the top of the unit you should see 2 big black caps (C6901 and C6902) with shiny silver-ish tops. I should also point out that you probably flew up a 125v 8A (F901) glass fuse on the board that the AC cord plugs into. The glass fuse can be found at Radio Shack, but the caps are a bit more troublesome to find. They are 10,000uF 69v and thats just not a standard part, so you may need to up the voltage requirement and buy a 75v cap. Total to fix the amp yourself:
