Hi, I'm running an AMD Phenom X4 9500 off of a Asus M2N68-LA (Narra3) board. What, if any, processor could I upgrade to on this board in order to get better speed? TIA Peter

go to Asus web site and get the pecs for the board. it should tell you what processors will work with the board.

There has been a lot of confusion going on around the net. However I find the driver which should work just fine with your model. However the driver is from HP/COMPAQ and the model is M2N68-LA (Ivy8)

No it does not. although it says it supports sockets AM2, AM2+, and AM3 and the Phenom 9750 is an AM2+, the Phenom 9750 has a wattage requirement of 125 watts. This motherboard ONLY supports CPU's up to 95watts! You would either need to get another motherboard or another CPU (or both and make a second computer).
Side note: also keep in mind that if using this motherboard with an AM2+ CPU, it will not be able to handle 1066MHZ memory (or higher) in dual channel mode, in order to get this speed you will either have to take out the second dimm or run both dimms at 800MHZ.

Hi. If you have a processor that was supported at a later date than motherboard was manufactured, your motherboard's BIOS may require an upgrade. If that does not answer your question,p lease provide more information on what motherboard and RAM you have.

unfortunately, this board does not appear to have slots for upgrading its graphic card.
