On my laptop it does the same thing or mixes up the whole paragraph, has to do with bumping the buttons or pads of the mouse with your wrists, I hate using my laptop because of this. just gotta watch closly or look in mouse settings and adjust it's sensitivity if possible. Good Luck

I can delete an email or emails and then in a minute or so they come back to my inbox like they were never deleted. Very frustrating.

What type of email account do you have? GMail? Yahoo?

Others have probably had the same problem. I should be able to help you once I know what kind of account you have.

How can I find and retrieve an email message reply that disappeared from the screen as I was typing.

Hate that. You might want to try hitting ctl-z right away. That's the keyboard command for undelete. My guess is that you're using a laptop with a mousepad. If so, you might be touching the mouse pad unknowingly and causing it to select text, then you're deleting it. It can happen so fast you might feel like a magician using slight-of-hand.

How do I retrieve an email that was forwarded but not sent just disappeared when I hit a bump on the road while typing into it using outlook express?

First of all, don't type emails while driving, it's not safe and you should always keep your eyes on the road!

Second of all, emails shouldn't just "disappear" when you hit a bump in the road while you're typing. You probably hit some sort of key combination during the shock which deleted your email.
You could try and login to your mailbox directly as outlook express is just 3rd party software to help you get your emails. For instance if you're using Windows Live Mail or Gmail you could just go to the website, login and check if your email is still there. However, this will depend on your Outlook Express settings. Some of these programs will delete the email from your mailserver in order to keep it from getting full.

Hope this helped!

How to delete multiple emails

Hi Laurie
Select an email to delete
move down the list by e.g. 5 messages
Hold Shift Key Down
Select last message in group of 5
All messages in a row will be selected.
Hit DELETE KEY
They get placed in deleted items in case you wish to recover later.
OR
Select an email to delete
skip down list one or two
Hold APPLE Key (Cmd Key)
Select next message
continue down list
Press APPLE Key just prior to clicking email message
This will allow you to randomly select from a list
Just hit Delete Key when ready
These Keys apply the same principal in many programs on the Mac
You can do the same with a directory in any window.

Good Luck

I have a Dell, recently (this week) when I turn it on I get a black screen with a message regarding the AC power can't be found but once I hit F1 it takes me to my usual screen to log on to my computer....

Two things that may be wrong here. You may have a power supply problem which requires a replacement and the other is a keyboard problem. Sometimes when the keyboard is defective, certain keys continue to be depressed and therefore forces the computer to process those commands. Therefore, slows down the computer.

When I'm in the process of typing emails, sometimes the message just disappears; sometimes the cursor jumps to another area of the message and sometimes the cursor disappears! Any solution to this? I got...

Most of the time you can recover the message by hitting ctrl + z. the curser diapering may be a software glitch or a setting somewhere, and I do not have an explanation for the curser moving by its self except maybe accidently touching the sensor with your wrist, they use the heat from the part of your body that touches them so it is very easy to accidently touch it and not realize.
