My clients are taking possession of a bank owned house with a Whirlpool Accubake in the kitchen. The gas is on and the oven works fine but the burners won't come on. The display shows "LOC" off. It seems like the burners ignotors are clicking but gas is not coming. What should we try?

You need to check for continuity between the bake relay output terminals and the broil relay output terminals. If the bake/broil function is supposed to be on and there is no continuity, your board must be replaced/repaired. The company I work for, ApplianceTimers.com can repair your failed board. If there is continuity, you have a shorted external wire(s) or element.

Hi

F2 Error indicates a loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Oven and broiler won't light

You may need to replace the part called the igniter module. It is what creates the spark that fires the gas.

When I turn on My Whirlpool Accubake Gas Oven, it will ignite and heat up to the tempurature set, but it wont sustain the heat properly and cool down. If I restart it, it will reheat, but still not...

Yes, you can fix this yourself very easily. You need a new temp. sensor. Here is the part to order. There is also a video on that same parts page to show you how to make the repair.

My Whirlpool Accubake oven will not work in bake mode, however the broiler works fine.

Take out the lower element from the oven, take to an appliance parts house, ask them to test the element - if the element is bad, they can sell/order you a new one...
If your element is good, you probably have a wiring fault. HAVE A PRO find this - beats waking up to a house on fire.
Hope this helps...

Hi,
If your electric2_bing.gif oven is not heating then you probably have a bad heating element in your oven. This is not that hard to fix yourself...

My Whirlpool accubake is taking a very long time to heat up

It is possible that the igniter that lights the gas is getting weak... as they weaken it takes longer for them to heat up hot enough to ignite the gas. When you light the oven, you should be able to see the orange glow of the igniter within a few seconds (it's similar to a cigarette lighter from a car) within 20-30 seconds you should hear the gas light.
