Everytime i try to print a box comes up that says "print to file". Then it saves it in documents but does not print. what is wrong?

Uninstall printer and then reinstall with new drivers, most likely the printer drivers are corrupted

Unfortunately that dialogue box only appears when the document is damaged. We I need to know if you used any external drive before saving it because they are the greatest damagers of these files.

Secondly, make a complete scan (Virus scan) of your computer to avoid any virus blocking its usage.

Also, try to ensure that its the actual document you sent. It could be possible that you are opening a scrap file of the real file, i.e. one which was temporarily left while you were working on the document.

You have to change the file associations for them to open with Print Shop. Select any Print Shop document, right click and select Get Info. Under the section Open with, there is a dropdown menu that shows the programs that open that file type. Simply select Print Shop and click Change All... button. Click Continue at the prompt and Print Shop should open all those file types.

in the start search typy printers & hit entre then u will get the printer page open then try n make your current print default by right clecking in your printers icon, u will no longer have this problem

Open the file you want to make into a PDF.
Choose File, then Print.
Use the PDFwriter option when printing from a word-processing application: Choose PDFwriter from the Name pull-down menu in the Print dialog box. Fill in the document information, then click Save.
Use Acrobat Distiller option when printing from a page layout or design program: Choose Acrobat Distiller from the Name pull-down menu in the Print dialog box. Fill in the document information, then click Save.

i had the wrong printer as the default all you have to do was select the correct printer....

have you tried saving the document as a 2007-document, and printing it out after that?
