Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional for PC Questions & Answers
How do I edit text on a pdf file?
With Acrobat 6 Professional -Select Tools > Advanced Editing > TouchUp Text Tool
Next, click on the text line where you want to do an edit.
Click-drag to select a string of characters and let your fingers walk the keyboard.
Or, just start where you've placed the cursor.
You'll find it somewhat awkward. PDF is not a word editing/processing
format. If desired edits are few and simple the TouchUp Text Tool
will suffice. If the desired edits are more than you really want to return
to the authoring application (word processor, whatever) to make the edits.
Then produce a new output PDF.
Note that the above presumes the PDF does not have security applied that prevents such edits.

Trying to remove a watermark from PDF Document
Under the menu in Document, then look for the feature Watermark. Once there it should give you the option to remove. If not then you need to have the original sender re-send the finalized version.
How to uninstall Adobe Reader 8.4.1 from Windows
After going down the route of Start - Control Panel - Program Updates - Highlight the application and click, then select Delete / Uninstall applications and deleting - if that does not work completely then get a free 30 eval of Ashampoo from www.ashampoo.de and use this to clean your system of all the junk and also clean the registry as many applications will leave entries in there even though they are not being used thereby slowing down and potentially causing application and driver conflicts.

I installed adobe 6 professional a few days ago on
I am not 100% certain but I am not sure you can use that old a Adobe version with Win 7. The current Adobe Pro for creating .pdf files is now version 9 for Win 7. That may be part of your problem. Consult the Adobe website and see if that older version will even run in Win 7
How do I know if
First
go to my computer then double click the C drive and go to program files.
Afterwards look for the folder named Adobe then double click it. Inside the
Adobe folder will be folders specifying your Adobe

I INSTALLED ACCORBAT PROFESSIONAL 6 TODAY BUT NOT
This could depend on the operating system you are using. If you are using Windows Vista or 7 then you will have to right click on the progam and click Run as administrator.
Hope this helped,
