I need a user manual for a Levono ThinkPad T420. Where can I download a free one?

Can you plug a monitor into the external Video connector, and do you see a display there? If you see a display on the external monitor, then the LCD is most likely bad.

Try to restart the computer. Lenovo computers can be glitchy a lot, and restarting seems to help. If it's a touch screen, the computer can be "confused" on which mode of input you're using.

Download Center ,here is driver for you :)

Try using CCleaner to remove a lot of unwanted temp data, this may help somewhat - you can download it free at www.ccleaner.com.
Also try using a free tune-up utility or some kind of registry cleaner.

You might have some viruses and malware.

Start your PC and press F8 several times until the boot menu comes up. Then select "Safe Mode with Networking". Now get some or ALL of the FREE programs below.

You should be in pretty good shape if you run and install all of these programs.

I would return the laptop, there maybe something bigger that needs to be addressed. What you are describing is not normal.
