I've Cannon 1100D and I bought Cannon RC-6 remote controller and I didn't know how to connect it with my 1100D. Can anybody help me ?

Try this first on the original remote. Insert the batteries backward and make sure that they make contact with the terminals in the remote control(stick a piece of metal in there to make sure all the posts make contact), then take them off and install them correctly and see if it works, it's a long shot but i've had some luck using this method. now, for the question regarding if the new remote will work, well, i couldn't find the correct code for your receiver using the RCA universal control. You have to assign any digital audio inputs and that requires a functioning controller.

You didn't specify the model of your Canon camera so I can't be specific, but on many cameras you have to set the camera to a remote mode before it will recognize the remote. Please refer to your camera manual for instructions on setting a remote mode.
