Need a replacement remote control for an old TV

Or buy using the television model, not by remote model. Walmart carry them. Check model number carefully when looking at Amazon and eBay listings.

All the original remotes for JVC sets are rather expensive--if looking for a replacement Google the model number with "remote" to see what is available for your TV.

Do yourself a favor and dump this old TV, new ones are much better and cost is very low due to low demand.

The bulb part number is: TS-CL110UAA. Take out the bulb and look inside from the front side. Visually inspect any physical damage inside. If it looks clean, lamp might be good

Is it possible it has locked itself? It can be locked in 3 ways according to manual.

1. by pressing the remote's stand by key for more than 3 secs.

2. By programming an auto stop.

3. By putting it on stand by after programming a wake-up time.

Flashing "red on" indicates it is locked. It can only be turned on by the remote. Press any number key on the remote to unlock it.

What is the model number of your set? Need that info to even begin to help you.

There are a number of different STK type parts. You need to look on the old ones for the part numbers. May have to dissassemble the heatsink to see the number. STK is pretty good about its numbers and you should have no trouble finding them.
