  • Hi I can help.
  • For the Grant 40 channel CB there are 40 frequencies I will list below.
  • When you refer to the upper and lower channels for this raidio you must mean USB (Upper Side Band) and LSB (lower side band).
  • This is called single side band modulation which is to say the the carrier is removed from the upper or lower sideband depending on which your pick and the signal goes farther on less power.
  • So the upper and lower side bands are the same frequency just upper side band or lower sideband.

How to replace lead coble on a flogstaff popup camper

There should be a metal channel running from front to back down the center if the trailer under the bottom of the trailer. There will be a pipe coming from each corner and connecting to this channel. Disconnect the four pipes from the center channel. In each pipe will be a heavy gauge spring type pusher (this is what actually raises the roof), pull each of these out of the center channel. Next you will need to remove the rear pulley from the bracket. This should be accomplished by pulling a hairpin keeper which will then allow the center clevis pin to be removed which will free the pulley. Next you will disconnect the cable from the winch drum. Now you will pull the cable free from the lower half of the center channel (If you look into the channel you will see that there is an upper and lower section). Once the cable is free from the lower section you will pull the cable free from the upper section. NOTE: The cable will be covered in grease and will be messy. Were rubber mechanics gloves or use rags to minimize the amount of grease on your hands and clothes. Now you are ready to install the new cable. Feed the cable through the upper portion of the center channel once it has cleared the rear end of the channel start to feed it into the lower channel. Now you can reinstall the lower channel push springs. This will help to determine how much cable should be in the channel. Next install the upper push springs. Now you can reinstall the rear pulley and last you can connect the new cable to the winch drum. The new cable will have a crimped lock with an oval washer at the end and another in the middle which will engage the push springs. The entire process should take about an hour and a half (rough estimate based on having a clean work shop, the proper tools and some mechanical abilities). Do NOT attempt to fabricate your own cable! It could lead to someone being seriously injured. If you need the main cable email me the year, make, model and overall length of the camper and I can get you a price. redriverrvrepair@yahoo.com

After you convert the connex 3400hp from ham to amature, what do you do to tune it in where you can reciever and talk? and also how do you tell what channels are regular, uppers, and lowers?

you will need a frequency counter, to show the channels. 1-40 and the others are allocated as frequencies. there are lists available showing ch1 band A is ??? so forth. there shouldn't be uppers or lower on it its just a AM/FM only radio NO SSB.

and these ARE NOT AMATEUR / HAM radios!!!!!!! these are EXPORTS...
