To work out the fault code go from right to left far right light is 1 the next is 2 next is 4 then 8, then 16,32,64,128. add up which lights correspond to your machine and then you can google that code and find what your problem is

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel GWL10 US won't spin

If the machine still has water in it, the drain pump is jammed or there may be an obstrution in one of the hoses. It is most likely the drain pump. Switch off the machine at the wall and unplug it. Tilt machine against a wall and look underneath. On the right you will see the drain pump. It looks upside down. Unplug the wiring harness to the pump and remove pump by turning it clockwise while at the same time releasing the little white clip that holds the pump in place. Clean thoroughly and replace pump.

its possible that the pump is either going bad or there is somethin gin the pumps/sump assy. on this model the unit generally tends to shut down when the pump overheats, and will only restart when the pump cools off, a warnig obout replaing hte pump if need be is the pump is actually 220v. you MUST UNPLUG MACHINE BEFORE SERVICING. its a foriegn brand remember so theres abuncha wierd wiring and the pump is one of them!

SOURCE: Fisher Paykel washing machine model # GWL15 drips

Hi Dale..
It sounds like you have a leaky inlet valve assembly. The part number is 421029P and is easy to replace. You can get one here:

Hi just read your posting.Could you please confirm the model number of your machine for me.Now you mentioned in your posting the 2 lights that are lit when the machine is beeping are the 1st in the row and last. These lights are in a row of 8 lights so starting from the left to right the lights that are lit are 1 and 8.Is this correct? Please reply with aditional information on the questions and I am sure I can help you.Looking forward to your reply.

Similar problem...

i don't know how old your machine is, but if it's still under warranty i'd get on it now! it could be failed electronics or loose/corroded connections.
you'll probably need a tech to trouble-shoot it. you may want to consider replacing it. it may be more cost effective!

good luck!

Have kelvinator smart drive 503, water won't run

Hi,

I have exactly the same issue, which first appeared yesterday. Following your advice, the lights that are lit are 3rd, 5th, 7th and 8th. The SLOW & HOLD spin speed lights are lit, along with constant beeping :)
