This is a common fault with the acer laptops from 4220 right up to the 5315, if the audio is not playing then it could be a driver issue go to http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads.html to download the correct audio if after doing this still no sounds make sure your computer is not on mute if it isnt then you have a faulty motherboard in your computer, if your computer is in warranty then it will be fixed free of charge if its not then you will have to send it in for repair or take it to a computer repair shop but this is a high charge repair job

Reinstall the atheros driver or install broadcom 802.11g network adapter driver given with cd along with laptop or download it from acer.com

It could as long as you install the proper sound drives for your usb sound card. This is important cause your laptop has to be able to detect the device properly.

The mixer should have installed during the install of your audio software.
If you have your Acer CD you can load your CD & look for the driver folder & open it. Find Audio or Sound folder.
Re-install your driver software.
You can open the link below that will open Acer's PDF file that contains your audio software. Depending on which sound device you have in your notebook.
Acer sucks at maintaining the correct drivers for their model no#.
Though you can find the Aspire 5570-2609 notebook, Acer does not list their driver's as 5570-269. They only list Aspire 5500-5570. For the 5570 click here & goto pg. 2
