hello
u will find a lot of wiring diagrams, codes etc and circuit diagrams help books and stuff like this at online places.. like reliable-store

the girl in the chat box can help u instantly... im a frequent buyer there since Im a mechanic so take help from there
The great news is you can program your aftermarket key fob yourself. The most difficult part of this process is locating the little activation button. You have to find your alarm box and follow the wires until you find the programming button.
If you need another aftermarket key fob you can find most models here for a great price: https://www.keylessentryremotefob.com/
Here is a video that will help explain:
Normally open is a tern used to describe the state of a contact on a relay. The relay supplied with the keyless entry system is designed to be almost universal and able to operate many different types of lock wiring schemes.
the 5 pin relays supplied have 3 contacts. Common, normally open , and normally closed. The common and normally closed terminals are connected internally without any power applied to the relay trigger inputs. This is its normal state. When the relay is triggered (power applied on coil terminals) the common disconnects from normally closed and connects internally to the normally open contact.
most all lock circuits can be interfaced with wihout having to install additional lock actuators.
You have to turn off your ignition and immediately press that 'eraser like button'(valet switch) for a second and release it. Alarm will then come out of valet mode and your remote should work, if it's good.
Ok you said "unlock doors' but you said it already unlocks the doors. This remote should lock and unlock door on same button, if you are describing the 2 button remote. If it is not then it could be alot of things. Does the alarm lock itself? Does the alarm lock the door when you turn on the ignition? More info is really needed. Like what veh and what model alarm.
You can try reprogramming the remotes. Open the door, turn the igniton on, press and release the programmimg button, press and hold the programming button, press the lock button on the remote. Turn the igniton off, test system.
turn the key to ON, then press and release the valet/program button once, then press and hold. The 561R LED will begin to blink. While you're holding down that button, press and release lock on the remote. Turn ignition off and try it out.
You failed to mention the year/make/model of the vehicle so, I will assume that there existed some sort of door lock/unlock/alarm disarm bypass module in your vehicle that is no longer functioning. There is no simpler fix then either resetting the module or, remove and replace it.
There is a green and blue wire on a white colored harness. You will need to verify that these wires are connected to the lock and unlock wires in the vehicle. This green and blue wires are on a 3 pin harness plugged into the alarm.
The person that installed it would know where the over ride switch is. The only thing that the manual tells is that the over ride has to be in reach of the driver that is turning the key to start it in order to over ride it. The module should be under the dash. You have to try to start it while holding down the switch for 10 seconds. Here is a link to the manual on one of those units. http://www.pdf-zoo.com/manual.pl?manual=4931
The orange wire applys a negative ground output only while the system is armed (when you press the lock button), the wire will then go dead when you press unlock. The orange wire can be used to enable a starter kill relay if desired. If your Durango has the factory immobiliser chip in the key then a starter kill relay would be redundant and not required. So it is only an option.
No not that I could find, before you remove the whole this just pull both fuses on the main harness red wire there should be 2 total, also check to see that the white ignition wire is hooked up to the remote start unit as this is a very important wire that needs to be hooked up because it is tyed in with your transmission system
Could be one of a couple of things. Tach not programmed properly or wire not connected correctly. Or the immobilizer bypass is not programmed or working properly.
